Did you seal it with anything to maintain natural color and integrity of wood in your hot summer sun there in St. George? Mary Wilding http://www.mytributejournal.com

It reminds me of Manhatten Nest’s garage. The planter box is the icing on the cake – I hope you give us more details about it. xx

Are you going to use the shop as a garage or will it be a DIY wonderland and the cars have to sleep outside?

I totally see what you mean when you couldn’t wait to start a bigger project, so you worked on a little and motivation-boosting one in the meantime. Congratulations on the project, I never thought I would be so excited by looking at garage doors! 😀

I work at a Sherwin Williams store and genuinely enjoy it. From personal experience I can tell you that everyday there’s a chance to learn something new. Whether it’s from diy customers or contractors it’s amazing. The ones I love the most most are the customers that are frustrated and come to us because everywhere else they’ve gone haven’t been able to help. We listen to them and let them vent then take care of their needs. The best feeling in the world is the gratitude received. There’s never a let me see if I can help, it’s always I’ll take care of you.
