I think re-gifting is completely acceptable! If you already have the gift – pass it along to someone who might need or enjoy it. Personally I have a hard time re-gifting and can’t remember the last time I did. Here’s the reason: My favorite part of gift giving is searching for that perfect item that is SOOOO them – what if someone put that much effort into finding the gift for me?

I have regifted, but only to completely different groups of people…. I have had someone regift a present to me that I gave to them… It was weird and funny all of the same time and atually it was something I had wanted!

I do have to admit that I am an occasional re-gifter! It’s only on rare occasions when I get something that I really don’t need or want!

Yes, I’m totally a re-gifter. I don’t feel bad doing it when it’s a generic gift. Candle gift set? That would make the perfect gift for my step-mother’s sister who I don’t know very well.
