I have a question that maybe some of you other Cricut people can answer. I'm fairly new to my Cricut Explore Air and there is something I would like to do while designing that I have not been able to do. When entering text, is it possible to place it in an arc shape? I know you can go horizontal, vertical, or on an angle but can your text be done in an arc?

Any tips and hacks would be greatly appreciated!!

All of these comments and your knowledge of the Cricut Explorer will be very useful. I purchased my Cricut Explorer Air Black Friday. I can hardly wait until it arrives!

My question is...I ordered a wireless device from Walmart to use with it but cancelled it because the wireless device is suppose to be included with the Cricut Explorer Air. Is this right?

Also, I do have a bazillion (actually over a hundred) cartridges. I was never going to update from my original Cricut I have been using for about 10 years. I really thought that after the Cricut Gypsy, that doesn't work even after I recently sent it in to be fixed, this was another Cricut craze that would let me down. After finding out you can load your cartridges you have already purchased, my mind changed and after stumbling on to your site, I am more excited! thank you.

One more comment. Do you have to purchase The Cricut Design studio separate? I have been on the the Cricut Design Space.

Thank you! I am bookmarking this site.

In reply to <a href="https://vintagerevivals.com/6-cricut-explore-design-hacks/#comment-1179804">Liz</a>.

mind if I add you to our bloggers list ?

If you still need a fix for this... or anyone else happens along that does.
I just encountered a similar issue with my Explore, the housing.... not the pen holder itself worked loose. There is a very simple fix which I was lucky enough to be told of by one of our message board members... so I shared it on my blog earlier today.
https://www.craftingcircle.com/Bloggit/
It also fixed another issue I had been struggling with. This covers print and cut registration mark issues, loose pen housing and bad cuts when cutting out fine detail designs.
I know this may be a bit late for you, but maybe it will help someone else. I love my Explore...I see a lot of issues where people are struggling to get help....sorry about that, they closed down the Cricut.com forums back in June so a lot of people moved to Facebook groups.... but there are two new message boards that started up... ours included.
You can find a list of groups and message boards here
https://www.craftingcircle.com/chatterbox/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=116
as well as other useful links. We shared this on what remained of the board for as long as possible, but I think it is no longer available on Cricut.com Community. Our message board is only viewable by members for the most part to stop spammers ruining our board like they did the Cricut one, but for those who don’t want to join.... I made the information available in the guest area too. If you go to the guest services area it is in the announcements at the top under the title of "External list of hangouts for Cricut users "
Hope you ladies get sorted and enjoy your Cricut's ...
