DO NOT do this if you are using oil based paint! We were working on our new cabin and using kilz primer to try to get rid of the smoke smell. We finished one coat but needed to come back in a week to do another coat so we wrapped up the roller and brushes and put them in the fridge. Came back a week or so later to finish up and our refrigerator smelled like turpentine! All the food in it was ruined. We tried everything to get rid of the smell (new filter, baking soda, bleach, let it air out for a month, etc.) and nothing worked! Ended up having to buy a whole new fridge!
