I say it’s your house do what you want. Don’t worry about 5 years from now. You will probably change it by then anyway. Make your house your own!! Can’t wait to see pics.

I painted my first house just like I wanted and decorated to suit my own taste, which is pretty bold~the house sold in 4 weeks for more than any other in the neighborhood ever had! That was 2 yrs ago in a very bad housing economy.I think people are refreshed to see something different! Go with what you love~

I would do it.
I always like to change things up and painting is the best way to do it.
And I'm living in a rental now for the first time in 17 years and can't paint so I say go for it!
