Its a braided rag-rug. I have one just like it that I started with lavender and black for my craft room. I have the pieces all braided but havent stitched them togather yet. I think Ill wait for your tutorial as you usually find the easy way! anna

My first thought was lampshade. Rug is the most obvious guess but you tend to go for the unexpected.

Mandi, I don’t comment as much as I should… I absolutely LOVE your blog {it is the 1st blog that kept me in jammies ALL day when I discovered all your crazy-amazing projects!} But I just wanted to say that I like the interactive type posts, and also that I’m going to SNAP with my sister Nat and we are SOOO excited to meet you! I’m most looking forward to the DIY Home track with you and Shelley, that’s pretty much why I signed up 🙂 We’re Lindsay & Mason’s cousins so in a way we’re a little related?
