It had just been installed in a new school gymnasium, but a pipe burst overnight, and ruined half the floor. All of it had to come out. My husband was one of the contractors on the job site and asked what they were going to do with the pieces that were still good. They told him he could take anything he wanted. He didn’t even have to ask me if I wanted it, lol. Now his man cave will have an amazing floor – one we work our way to that project, lol!

The idea is that the tail of the ribbon would stick out, revealing the remote’s hiding spot 🙂

Ha! There’s a fine line between manners and the need to know so you can do the same thing! Vintage Revivals is a full disclosure blog, so I’m happy to disclose it and feel a little silly for not mentioning it above!

The alley is 60 feet long and 42 inches wide. We purchased our lane for $200. The person before me purchased theirs for $360 each. The person after me purchased the rest of the lanes for $175 each.

This auction had lots of support from locals in attendance, if you found a lane that didn’t have such a heartfelt response, the lanes would have been cheaper. I’ve heard of them being less and likewise, I’ve heard of them being more. If you search around on Craigslist, a single 8′-10′ section at 21″ wide is usually what we see for roughly $200-$300.
