I am a diy lightweight. But I have aspirations. My favorite diy project was converting my son’s closet into an office/museum of natural history. Our house is naturally dark and I need some new tools and houseplants so I sure do hope I win! Thnx!

Type of DIYer= medium? My hubs calls me a: Pinterest addict. We take on some good sized projects. Like buying a farmstead that needed a whole gut job. The challenge in itself is trying to do reno work while we: have a 19m old running around, I’m 9 months pregnant, working full-time ( at hospital so have weekend shifts) and in school. Goal for maternity leave ( this summer): landscaping around house and farm with bolder periennals beds, working on a 20×40 garden, get the hens started laying, new chandelier in dining room; heated tiled floors in porch and entry ways; and new bath upstairs (retro fit a vanity into an old dresser, replace a jet tub with a claw foot for fun sibling scub time and new tiled/heated floors).
Sound like a plan? …..just have to finish up the nursery and do a reveal before this baby arrives!

On a scale of 10, I’m about a 7 but the beau he’s an 11, together that makes us 18… so we tackle things we probably shouldn’t all the time ha. We’re sprinting toward getting the last pieces for our 1974 Skylark travel trailer, before we put it all back together like humpty dumpty. We’d love to have the beauty finished before the end of summer- to hit some kind of mini-fall camping getaway. *fingers crossed*
