I really hope you read this message. I want to make this table as a Christmas present to myself this year. I went to the hardware store to priceout the copper pipe and they all have a red or blue marker stripe down them. How do I clean this off safely? Also, I’m new to using copper. Does it tarnish easily? How often would I need to clean or polish the copper on this table? Or can I spray some kind of clear coating over it to protect it? I LOVE your blog and all of your designs! Hey Renee! You can try sanding them with a sander, I would use 150 grit paper and go at it until they are rounded enough!

Any ideas on how to soften them? We love putting our feet up, but the edges dig deep into our calves. 🙁
