I'm a global casual! My colors are apparently in the yellow family, which is so different from the turquoise and neutral tones I usually gravitate towards. Overall, it's description was incredibly suitable though! I have lots of one of a kind pieces I really love. Trying to tie my marble based, brass golden retriever staring at a murano glass sphere tv lamp with, well almost anything, is a real challenge! So, he hides on my night stand. I think it's time to introduce him to my guests. I will just need to tie the rest of the room together so I don't look completely insane.

Your home is warm and inviting, and expresses your curiosity and zest for life. You have wide-ranging interests, and an appreciation for many different cultures and ways of life. You bring a sense of the far-flung world into your home through its décor through unique or artisan-made treasures. Objects in your home tend to reflect your personality, your passions, your values, and your eclectic interests. This gives your home a sense of intrigue and comfort.

You value creativity. You are stylish and fun loving, and can be an inspiration to others. You have a natural sense of drama, and you know you have to be willing to take risks—whether with colors, finishes, furniture choices, or ideas—for your home to stand out. Your home can be happy and lively and the place all of your friends want to be.

Your Happy Home Colors
Yellow

Putting Color to Use!
Wall paint is a wonderful and fairly low-risk way to bring color into your home. You can even just go for a single accent wall. Curtains or rugs, either with pattern or in a solid hue, are a sophisticated way to bring the excitement of color to a room with an otherwise neutral, refined palette. Small, decorative accessories—like pillows, throws, tablecloths, and bedspreads—add cheer, and you can easily change them out for the seasons or on a whim!
Putting Your Style to Work!
With your style and needs in mind, here are a few tips that will help you make your home a little happier.

1. Your Design Challenge: UNIFY The good news is, you probably have many things you love and have collected, and no one would ever say your home is boring! You've done the hard part; now you just need to pull it all together. If your furniture seems like a mish-mash, unify it through similar upholsters or slipcovers. When grouping objects, try to find something they have in common. If they share a shape, color or material, they will look like a collection. A tray is every decorator's secret weapon for making groups of small objects look purposeful and sculptural. If your accessories are all over the map, try subduing the upholstery or wall color, so your small items are the stars.

2. Your Happy Place Think of your outdoor space, no matter how small, as rooms, and create distinct areas. A pair of chaises flanking a little side table makes a living room. A lantern hanging from a tree or pergola over a table and chairs makes a dining room. A cluster of potted plants on a patio can create a cozy nook, and a single urn or bench placed at the far end can draw your eye, making a space seem longer. Big lanterns with candles sitting on the ground create a sense of space and give beautiful light. Try out new ideas before you start shopping by taking a photo of your area and laying some tracing paper over the print to draw whatever you're planning first.

WhH., You Are A BOHEMIAN CLASSIC

You have a refined sensibility and bring a sense of history and tradition into your decor.
Hey Mandi! Loved participating in this challenge! I also love the kick in the pants it has been for me to try and bring my sad little blog out of its current obscurity. I do need to buy a new camera though (before I can honestly start posting anything truly noteworthy)! But, I did post my results to this quiz. I am diagnosed as an Elegant Classic which sounds FARRRR better than what my house actually looks like:) Fun stuff! I didn't see a way to link up, so I guess this is it!

What a fun quiz, no to mention, I love Home Goods as well! I'm a "Classic Modern" and it suits me perfectly. I'm wildly eclectic having vintage mixed with new, loads of colour. I wait ages before I find quality pieces to suit my aesthetic, but can also be impulsive when I want something with zing! Love the part about humour, I do try to inject it where I can -- for example my living room drapes are a vintage pattern of Picasso posters from various exhibits around the world. Very colorful, and quirky and people either love them once the realise what the design is, or see only the wild mix of colours and hate them immediately. (I actually loved them so much that they came out of the guest room into the living room which I designed around them!) For more humour, I'm hoping one day to add the Phillipe Starke gnome tables and one of his mushrooms! (If I can ever find the room...) XXX Suzanne
