The previous owner of my house worked for the water department, so light fixtures were installed using plumbing parts. Yep, that’s right. Even the electrician was stumped.

My hubby and I bought a 1920s house that was previously owned my an amateur electrician, so I feel ya on the green and yellow wires! Every time we so much as replace a light switch, we end up scratching our heads and saying ‘What are we even looking at here?’
