Okay, the black sink adds such a great level of dimension! I am loving the black cabinets! My cabinets are being painted, soon, and I can't wait to see the black!

In reply to kim. I am wondering the same thing. What are the dimensions of the island? I am in the middle of planning a kitchen remodel and I am being told (by helpful family members) that my island is too long. Could you also give me the dimensions of the other wall too?

That huge island isn’t amazing! How long is it and did you have to have a seam in the countertop?

Love this so much. I’ve been toying around with a floorplan for some time that is a similar kitchen/stair layout and this is absolutely helping me see how good it could be. And that SINK!

I would love to know more about the shelving on the back wall! Did you make it or did someone else?

I am planning my kitchen remodel, and pinned some pics from this post on pinterest. Just wanted to let you know that, except for the first picture, it is not automatically entering the source info. I wanted to give you credit, of course, so entered your blog name & the post title, but thought you might want to know. Beautiful kitchen!
