Last year when we were in town for a visit we grabbed food at our ‘favorite place’ and I was DROOLING over the makeover. I seriously love it!! Stumbled upon your blog searching for ‘swig cookies’ and then found the designer behind Durangos’ new look and just have to say it’s amazing and I’m in love!!!

Function FIRST and then the design second. a beautiful kitchen, for instance, with poor function is a deal breaker for me. i’d rather have a mediocre looking kitchen with great functionality. the restaurant looks beautiful. Seriously though, the place looks amazing. You guys did an outstanding job with a space that was so different from your own! Your vision came together really well. I think my favorite part is the black wall with the buildings painted on it. It was such a cool way to retain the character of the original wall while making it fit the clean, modern aesthetic of the new design.
