In reply to Suzanne Russo-Vidal. Suzanne sometimes you have to run it a few times. Don't unload the mat after the first round. You can run as many passes as you need. When you hit the “C” on your machine that signals it to start cutting. When it is done, the load/unload arrow starts flashing indicating that your cut is finished and your mat is ready to be unloaded. BUT if you hit the “C” again it will cut your design again. The mat has to be manually unloaded, if you don’t unload it it will cut your design in the EXACT same path as the first round. And you can hit that “C” as many times as you want.

Question… Because I can’t seem to find it anywhere and I’m a newbie. You mentioned cutting 1/32″ birch. I’m in the process… Like now.. For Christmas cards.. And my Cricut air seems to be just scoring it. I have a deep blade, 6x cut, and pressure set to 325, any advice would be awesome!! Thanks!!

I felt totally destroyed when they gave up on eveything else but the Explorer, as here I sit with a Baby, Expression, Gypsy, Imagine, Expressiono II as well as 400+ carts. I was giving up on everything and going with Silhouette. I was tired of being lied to. I also felt like I was giving up on everything I had believed/invested in so I just packed them all away and did nothing. Finally gave in to the explorer as I thought “well, maybe this time..” HA, it still doesn’t cut much better for tiny or delicate cuts. Can’t use my wireless connector cause it … just doesn’t work, yet my router is straight across the room at about 12 ft. 1 down. Still rotten cuts – 2 down. Can’t use all the markers I had bought – 3 down. Front flap door won’t stay up – 4 down. It’s like an Act of God to get all my carts transferred to the Explorer – 5 down Can’t use my gypsy – 6 down Design space is so lacking in features that were in CCR – 7 down. And my LARGEST pet-peeve, they’re not designing cartridges like they used to, what I bought. Now they’re all hokey cards or home decor. I can’t image wanting my home decorated with a bunch of paper items. REALLY?? How cheap looking. I want more carts like we used to get, new “things”. Create a Critter, my Teddy Bear cart, Lifes a Beach items, the Vacation carts, Kitchen Carts, Pirate Adventures. I could go on and on. GIVE US THOSE AGAIN.. I’m not (nor have I) bought the kooky decor items, nor the hokey cards. In fact, STOP WITH THE CARDS.
Just the thoughts of someone that was faithful to Cricut for 20 years and spent thousands of dollars. Now I dont even want to look at any new arrivals, I already know what they’ll be. Lame, Lame, Lame.
