It’s not modern, but I do love my Willow Tree nativity set. I also have my mom’s beautiful olive wood nativity from Isreal.

I’ve never met a nativity set I didn’t like ( after all it IS the reason for the season ?— oh wait there was one I didn’t like that I don’t put out. When my kids were little I used to say nothing is tacky at Christmas,but I’ve changed my mind on that). I have a contemporary home and I arrange all of my dozens of nativities from all over the world in what I think of as a kind of stylishly modern way. If we didn’t have so many I would just buy that gorgeous one from Home Depot and call it good. Thanks for loving nativities too and Merry Christmas to the Gublers.

I’ve always loved Fontanini nativity sets. They aren’t minimalist, but they are beautiful, and they are plastic so kids can play with them.
