Agreed 🙁 These home decor shows/blogs always make spaces that are beautiful but not functional IRL. Eventually, they’ll have to put the AC back in the windows, the kids’ toys will creep back in, and they’ll probably also miss the additional comfortable seating they had with that second bench/couch thing on the one wall. I remember Mandy used to do things that were a bit more practical for the people living there and (what I miss even more) more actual DIY and less shopping. She does shop good, though.

The mirror is actually anchored to the wall so no need to worry about that part! As far as the glass goes, you just have to figure out what works best for your family!
