My master bedroom has been “in the works” for a while. I started stenciling it in June, and installing board and batten in September. One mistake that I think so many people do that make things more complicated and frustrating is that they become so SET in a color palette or design scheme that they don’t let the room design flow organically. This room makeover is the PERFECT example of that.

Are you ready for the ultimate before and after?!! Here is the Before Before…Like from the MLS listing when we bought our house…:

Sick Nasty, right?!

If you want to see more of the NASTY MLS listing that I fell in love with you can click here.

This is what it looked like after we moved in and how things are in my real life and fixed it up a little…and by fixed up I mean got rid of that diseased carpet.

Originally the room was going to be Coral and Navy and Gold. That is it. Nothing else. I was struggling a little trying find fabric that matched the Coral Mirrored Dresser (Krylon Coral Isle). I had an impossible time trying to find something that was Navy AND Coral. Like IMPOSSIBLE. There was none.

So what is a girl to do? I went to the DI (Utah’s version of the Goodwill) and looked in the women’s clothing section. Did you know that you can find some really great fabric at the Thrift Store? Most long skirts or dresses have at least a yard or 2.

When I saw this skirt I KNEW it was perfect for the space. No it was not Coral and Navy. BUT it had Coral and Navy in it as well as a ton of other true bright colors. It was exactly what I needed to bring more life to the room.

So I made it into pillows!

(All of the other fabric for the pillows is from Joann’s and the pillow forms are basically stolen they were so cheap. The white duvet and fuchsia sheet are from Target. The green throw is from Homegoods.

Using this fabric TOTALLY opened up my entire color scheme which I LOVE!! The stencil is amazing right?! You can see a full tutorial on how to stencil your walls here. If you have a large space to fill lining large pictures up is a great way to fill the space. And the coat of arms throws it off balance a little and makes it way more interesting.

Here is the before of that wall:

Did you notice that I spray painted my bed frame brass? I used Krylon Metallic in Brass.

On the opposite wall I used the mirror that used to hang in my entryway.

You guys know that I am OBSESSED with awesome frames and buy them any time I see one. I have accumulated quite the collection so I hung the board and batten so that I could show them off. Its like a mixture of a gallery wall and specimen art of awesomeness.

Here is a before of that wall..

I used basic white curtains from Ikea and hung them really high on the wall. This makes the windows seem much bigger. Just make sure if you do this that your curtains are long enough to touch or puddle on the floor. Personally, I love a good puddle.

I found the nightstands at Homegoods on clearance, and you can see the full tutorial on how to make the hanging pendant lights here.

And don’t you LOVE that giant horse head?! I found that at Homegoods also.

The before of this chair deserves an award. Don’t you think?

Now for some fun shots.

You should. It is the FIRST thing that people see when they come in your front door, it sets the entire mood for the rest of your space. I have spent the last week and 1/2 making over my Entryway and I am dying to show you!

This is what it looked like before the makeover:

I love it.

So let me give you the Mandilicious guided tour!

The hands down greatest thing in here is the tandem bicycle art. Do you remember a few weeks ago when I shared my list of 6 of my favorite blogs? Well on that list was Olson Ink. Jonathan is SO insanely talented that I knew he was the man for the job.

All I did was tell him that I wanted a tandem old school bike in cobalt and white. He came up with a 100% custom sketch (that I jumped for joy at!) It was SO much better than anything that I could have dreamed up.

He painted it on a 8’x4’x1” plywood with a wood veneer. The wood was stained a light Honey Blonde color before he started painting. Then when he was all done he cut it into 5 sections.

Isn’t he amazing?! Crap. I don’t use a lot of art in my house because it feels so impersonal but to have something like this painted by one of your friends? Sheesh, it doesn’t get much better than that. And when Jonathan becomes rich and famous I will forever have a custom piece painted by him. (For those interested in having him paint something for you you can email him at jonathan.olson4 at hotmail dot com)

The credenza was a find that my Mother In Law found about a year ago. It was only $35.00 and she used it in my Sister in Law’s bedroom until we decided to change her room up. It had been sitting in the garage the last few months and I knew that it needed to come and live at my house! Not one thing has been changed on it, sometimes you can really score a great piece that just needs a good wipe down! Its probably from the 50’s and I had a really hard time capturing the vibrancy of it. It is almost the exact same color as my kitchen table. It is made out of metal so its really industrial but, helllllllo its teal. Its like a combo made in mismatched heaven.

All of the books and odds and ends as well as the lamp were found thrifting. The cute little stool was a $10.00 Craigslist find and it gives it the raw industrial push that the space needed.

And then there is of course the Herringbone Ceiling. Oh how I love it. But it would not be as awesome without Octy the Purple Chandelier. Ol’ Octy is still one of the best thrifting finds I have ever happened across.

So I decided to give you a sneak peek into Hailee’s hallway. Pretty much this is one of my most favorite painting projects ever.

And it was super easy!

Start by measuring your stripes. I used a paint stir stick for all of the measurements. Literally all of them.

There was a lot of changing things up as we went. So for you to duplicate the end result you will just have to hold on tight. The pictures may seem out of order but it will turn out fine. Promise.

First you paint your base color:

Then you are going to take a level or a laser level and draw light pencil lines around the space.

After you do that its time to tape! I love the Edgelock tons. It had great adhesion.

One thing to remember that when you are taping off lines you need to put the tape on the inside of the lines that are going to be your wall color. That way your stripes will be the same.

Now for the chevron… Like I said earlier the idea evolved like it so often does here…

Mark the center of your stripe: (I did this with masking tape)

Then measure the distance that you want your zig to go and draw a line.

Start your tape at the top of one line and bring it down to the bottom of the next line (or visa versa)

Here is where we changed it up. See in the above pic how the points cross into the horizontal line? That is cause I was originally going to paint just the stripes teal, so in order for the chevrons that have points we had to move the horizontal tape.

To get a perfect point just use a razor blade. You cant tell I promise.

This is what it should look like when its done.

The secret to getting perfect lines is to paint your base color over the top of the tape. Works every time!

Here is what it looks like with the tape off of the taupe stripe and still on the teal stripe:

Peel while you paint is still wet and you will get cleaner lines!

And there you go!! Awesome project right!?

Today you get to meet one of them! This is me and my friend Hailey:

Hailey has lived in her house for a while and was sort of stuck in a style rut. On Friday we were chatting because she had just bought new couches and loved the couches but sort of hated her living room.

This was an emergency.

So we drove right over to her house. And that is where the magic happened. The design magic of course….geez.

So here is a semi before of Hailee’s living room (I had already started rearranging the furniture cause I cant help myself.)

We are doing something amazing with this little window hole.

And Hailey’s husband is MOTIVATED to get it done. So hopefully we will have a room reveal really soon!

So far I have shared quite a few tutorials and info about the Epic Room Makeover. There are also a few of the really big projects that I am working on the tutorials for (and maybe a video or two) but today I wanted to share a little about the smaller things that don’t really need a tutorial but are hugely important in the grand scheme of things!

I found these nightstands at the DI (utah’s version of Goodwill) they were in 2 different parts of the store and the difference in the prices was CRAZY.

One was priced at $10.00 and the other was priced at $50.00. NUTS right? So what did I do? What I do best. I called one of the managers over and pointed out the craziness. He was so nice, he ended up selling them for $25.00 total. Did you know that most of the time all you have to do is ask? I don’t get a discount every time I ask, but its worth it when I do!

Look at their cute little feet and wheels!!

So first things first. Remove the hardware, tape the things that you don’t want painted and get to work. I painted these with Krylon’s Classic Gray. (ps for those of you who follow me on FB know that as I was cleaning out my garage I posted a question asking which color of spray paint you think I have the most of and Classic Gray is the winner!) Also I love how it looks pigeon toed!

I didn’t glaze them because lets face it, not everything needs to be glazed to be awesome. I love how they turned out and I wish I could find some more for my Master!

Now to the lamps. Oh the sweet, sweet lamps. They started out as your run of the mill sassy brassy thrift store goodness. Actually I had an impossible time finding a matching set but these were pretty dang close. And perfection is boring AND lame, so there ya go.

Now if you have followed my blog for more than 5 minutes you know that I am a Kilz primer and Krylon spray paint girl. But there are sometimes products that are better suited for stuff like this…Enter da da da!

Krylon Duel!

Kilz is too heavy of a primer to use on something like this. Dual is PERFECTION in a can. Make sure you wipe them down really well first and get to spraying. I didn’t have Sun Yellow Dual but I did have white so I painted it white first and then Sun Yellow. One of my fave things about not using Kilz is that the lamps had a really high gloss to them. (Kilz will take that away, did you know that?)

The lampshades are from Ikea.

They come like this:

If you are going to put something on them now is the time. I used my Silhouette to cut out a man and a woman figure.

See the little holes? That is where the metal piece goes to hold it on the lamp.

So some people may wonder why. Why in the world did you put the universal sign for a restroom by these peoples bed?

To that I say, why not? Its fun and quirky and pretty hilarious. Adding a small touch of humor to a room makes it REAL. It makes people feel comfortable there. Remember my lampshade? And the pillow in my bedroom?

If you feel like you are struggling to make a space YOURS then adding something that you LOVE especially if its quirky instantly injects life into it. Try it, I triple dog dare you.

I love unique lighting. Like LOVE it. It is one of my life goals to replace all ceiling fans and builder grade boob lights in the world with lighting that makes the room. This one needs to be in a cage cause it is down right wild. (That was so lame.)

Start out with an old school hanging light. You want the chandelier to be smallish in size so that it will fit inside your baskets. The lights with the glass shades are perfect for this project, I bought this one for $15.00

You also need to buy 2 hanging flower baskets. These ones came from Walmart for around $9.00 each.

Disassemble your light fixture enough to get your shade off. They are all different but basically you are going to have some hollow decorative pieces that surround a threaded pipe. The cords go through the inside of the tube and there are washers and bolts on the outside of it that connect everything together.

Then you are going to place your basket on it. If your basket doesn’t have an opening in the center you can always use a metal drill bit and drill your own.

Then put your hollow decorative pieces back on. You may need to adjust the threaded pipes to make them longer or shorter to accommodate the basket and still look right.

Then hang the second basket to the first. You can use lots of different materials to do this, in our dry run we used links from the baskets but in the end we used links from the chain.

I spray painted it using Krylon’s Metallic Brass (you can usually only find the brass color at craft stores)

Once its dry put in your light bulbs and attach your bottom basket.

Hope you love the next few action shots…they are pretty rare, cause normally I cant do all the work AND take pictures while I am doing it…

The next part is usually where my husband (or Jessica’s husband) is involved in. The rewiring. It is extremely simple but if you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself you can hire an elecrician for around $70 to come out and do it for you.

Then turn it on aaaannnnnnnnnndddddddd….

We have LIGHT!!

To get the light centered on Jessica’s bed I bought a swag hook and swagged it over the bed. You can buy a pack of 2 of these hooks at Home Depot for around $5.00. Notice the light bulbs are different in these pics…the small globe lights look SOO much better.

YAYAYA!! I LOVE how it turned out. It is along the lines of the caged lights that are all over Pottery Barn and Anthro but WAAAAY cheaper…and cuter.

Old doors are such a fantastic way to add character to a room. An old door turned into a custom headboard is a double whammy of awesomeness.

When Jessica submitted her entry for the Epic Room Makeover she shared that she had an awesome door that she wanted to use for a headboard.

I was all over that idea, it’s a project that I have been wanting to do for a super long time.

She had originally bought the door for this exact project. Jess said that the door was just a little longer than the bed was wide and that she was planning on using it as is. I was super excited and anxious to start so we got to work.

The first thing that needed to be done was the molding on the top to finish off the headboard.

The way to do this is first to decide how you want it to look. I chose to do crown style molding.

I went and bought 8 foot piece of molding and a 8 foot 1×4. We took everything over to one of my amazing friends Mandi to help figure out all of the cuts.

Dudes she is legit. (Stick with me I will be telling you how to do the cuts soon)

She her and her awesome hub got everything measured and cut.

We took it back to Jessica’s and started putting it together.

The door was originally painted a darkish foresty green,

via

The green was not awful but it needed to be so much more vibrant. So to keep the oldish feeling we really lightly sanded the door and did not prime before we painted.

I used Krylon’s Emerald Green (LOVE!) and did a few really light even coats, it brightened up the old green but you could still see the grain through it. It turned out to be the perfect combo.

Then because the fabric that I bought to put inside was a little sheer we painted the inside of each panel white with Decoart’s Acrylic White. (HUGE thanks to Jessica’s adorable mom for helping with this!)

Once everything was painted we started on the construction.

The first thing that you want to do is attach your 1×4 to the top of the door. This is going to be the top part of your headboard.

We used a nail gun with 2” nails to secure it. You can also use screws if you prefer.

Then you are going to attach your molding.

It was lookin good! To figure out the height that we wanted it with the bed we carried it inside to see how high the bed was…

Womp womp. The door was WAAAAY longer than the bed. But this was not going to be a project fail.

So we took it back outside, took the molding off and cut the door down using a jigsaw.

So then we re-measured and re-cut the 1×4. We left a 2.5” overhang on each end. The easiest way to figure out how much you will need is to put the piece of molding up and mark where it hits the 1×4, then measure from that point back to the door.

This is where is got unnecessarily complicated. Have you ever cut crown molding? Ya…it blows.

We cut SOOOO many small pieces trying to figure out where and how and why these pieces met up at a right angle. It was not awesome.

FINALLY after watching 15 videos on youtube we figured out that the problem was not our lack of skillz (yes, with a z.) it was the fact that the saw we were using had too short of a backboard.

One we got that situation mastered we encountered another problem. Our 1×4 was cut 1/2” too short… Yes life does suck sometimes.

Luckily Jessica’s husband does things the same way that mine does…

He just notched out the door to make it fit…

There was also a lot of putty involved…

But in the end it looked awesome and now I know how to cut crown molding.

The moral of the story is to watch a bunch of videos before you cut. Got it?

So on to the fun part.

GLAZING!! I am a HUGE fan of Ralph Lauren’s Glaze. But it is discontinued so I have been trying out tons of options to find one that I like as much.

For this project I used Decoart’s Antiquing Medium (which is the same as a glazing medium.)

Then I custom mixed my color using Lamp Black and Slate Grey. I wanted it to be a really dark charcoal color.

I LOVE their medium. It is really thick and smooth. The prob I have found with other mediums is that they are too thin and its really easy to see your brush strokes, you don’t want that ps.

A bottle of this medium is about $2.00 (without a coupon from Michaels) I used about 1/2 a bottle for the entire headboard.

You probably know the drill from here. Brush it on and then wipe it off with a damp cloth, then go back over it with a dry one. If you need more in depth instructions you can see my full how to glaze tutorial.

For the legs on the board we used 2 pieces of MDF that ran the height of our headboard.

Then it was time for the fabric panels.

I found this fabric at Ikea. I LOVED it so much it was one of the things that inspired the entire room design.

Cut the piece of fabric the size of the panel.

Spray the panel with adhesive. I love Krylon’s Spray Adhesive because it has awesome grip and not a large overspray area.

Smooth it out and if you need to trim your fabric a rotary cutter works SOOOOO great for trimming it off once its already attached.

Then I used the same technique for attaching the cheater nailhead trim that I used on busted cane chair makeover.

The fabric panels and nailhead trim give the headboard a completely custom look. It pulls the entire color scheme together and is one of my favorite parts of the entire space.

The best part about it is that it is something that EVERYONE can do.

To see the room in its entirety click here.

And I have to give a huge shout out to Jessica’s husband Allan for helping with this project. He was awesome, sometimes you just need 4 people trying to figure something out to get it right! Thanks Allan!

I originally did this project when I was getting ready for The Nate Show but when I was putting it together I was on such a time constraint and my camera was dead that I didn’t have time to wait for the battery to charge.

I knew immediately that I wanted to do this project for the Epic Makeover because there was such a small skinny wall between the 2 doors.

First what you need is wood. You can use new or old, whatever you prefer.

On mine I used newer wood that was already stained; on Jessica’s I used old pallet wood.

Secure your boards together with brace pieces.

I used a nail gun because I had one handy but you can use regular nails if you want.

Once your pieces are secure bust out you vinyl. I used this roman numeral converter to figure out what the numbers were for 2006.

I used Madonna my Silhouette and the Artistamp Medium font that I love so much.

If you are doing this on reclaimed wood the vinyl wont really stick so just do the best that you can.

I used my 1.5 inch Purdy brush and all of these Decoart paints to make this sweet project a reality.

I watered down the first layer of all of these colors and randomly brushed it on. The reason is because I wanted it to look old and sometimes full strength paint looks too new. It’s a fun little trick, try it sometime!

The color I used for the first layer is Americana’s Kelly Green, super bright and exactly the shade I was going for. The reason I did it first is because I wanted it to be seen but not be the MAIN color of the piece.

Then I did the same for the second color which was Americana’s White.

and for the third Americana’s Lamp Black.

Then peel of your vinyl

Once I got it hung in Jessica’s room it seemed too dark so I took more white and did not water it down this time.

I dry brushed it on and it lightened the sign up a ton and gave more contrast between the natural wood color and the paints

For mine I used the same technique but painted it heavier with Americana’s White and Bright Yellow.

I like different things about both of them. Which one is your fave and why?

Do you want to learn how to take an old broken chair and update it into something modern and amazing?

Lots of times I will see a pair that has one that is in perfect condition and the other one will look like it lived at Freddy Kruger’s house. So frustrating.

I have been on the hunt for one that was shredded for months and of course I could only find perfectly fine ones…

Anyways when I finally found this one I was SOOOO excited!

I mean how do these things happen?

Moving on.

First what you need to do is take off all of your upholstery. If the cushion is not immediately removable don’t worry there are screws underneath the back fabric under the chair.

This welting was stapled to the chair which makes for less sewing which I love!

Next its time to take all of the caning off. There is a long skinny piece that finishes it off and covers the staples that you will need to take off first.

Then you will need to pull out the staples that hold the caning in.

This is a very messy removal so I was glad that I did it outside.

Also somehow I don’t have a pic of the chair after the caning removal…not quite sure how that happened!

If you are going to paint this is the time to do so! On the Epic Room Makeover chair I painted it Krylon’s Emerald Green. It turned out the perfect shade of bright green.

Now for the really fun part.

I used black stripe upholstery webbing for the sides. You can get red stripe anywhere from Joann’s to Walmart but to get the black stripe you will need to get it from an upholstery supplier.

Start out by stapling strips of it vertically on your chair. Secure the top of it well but only put one staple in the bottom. (I tried it with the ends loose and it was easier to weave when the bottom is secure)

When you are stapling on the top make sure that it is as close to the groove as possible. I did mine right below it.

Don’t judge my fingernails.

Then you are going to start weaving pieces horizontally. Start on the BACK of the chair. Secure with 3-4 staples.

Tack the end with ONE staple below the groove.

On my second row I had to work in another vertical piece but it had to be woven and stapled one row at a time. See how I had to staple it under row 2 and staple it over row 3?

Once all of your rows are woven take you stapler and secure all of your webbing. Make sure you do this neatly and as close to your groove as possible because if the staples are too low they wont be covered by the nail head trim. Then I took a rotary cutter and rolled it inside the groove to trim all the excess.

Up next is the upholstery. Take your cushions apart.

Use your cushion fabric as a template so you know where to cut. I ALWAYS cut it extra big cause you can trim it off. And when you are tufting you need extra fabric.

Then I took my cushion and marked where the tufting buttons are supposed to go.

I had buttons covered at an upholstery shop (cause it is right down the street from my parents house and it was WAYYYY easier than doing it myself.) Most shops will charge you around $.40 a button. The buttons I used are like giant brads. You insert them through your fabric and cushion and then spread apart the metal prongs.

As you are doing it make sure its lining up right and tufting it with the same pressure.

Then you are going to put the wooden frame under your cushion and staple the fabric to it.

When you take the top cushion apart you will notice that there are 2 parts. The actual cushion and then a back piece that makes it so you cant see the back of the cushion.

Start with this part first. When you are stapling make sure your fabric is extra tight and smooth. When you have it stapled trim the extra.

When you are stapling your cushion on make sure that you shape the fabric around it before you staple. See how the sides have the fabric wrapped around it a little?

Trim it as close as you can, it will give you a much cleaner finished piece.

One of the cutest thing about this chair is the nailhead trim. I used the cheater version…don’t hate me. It is a long continuous piece. I bought it from DIY upholstery supply.

See the one with the hole? You put an actual nailhead in there… so instead of nailing every single nailhead in you are only nailing in every 5!! Saves SOO much time and its always straight!

Can you tell which ones are the “fakes”?

When you get to a corner cut your strip down so that the one with the hole is at the beginning and start again. If you have to fill a few spots with the real nailheads go right ahead!!

Almost done!!

To trim out the white cushions I used welting. Super easy to make and covers all your staples!

I used 1/2 inch welting. I cut my fabric into 2.5 inch strip.

Then using your zipper foot on your sewing machine sew in your cording.

Trim off the extra and bust out your glue gun! Glue your trim along the edge of your cushion

Put you bottom cushion on and you are DONEZO!

What a busy busy week. For those of you who started reading Vintage Revivals since the Epic Room Makeover announcement lets do a quick recap.

I came up with the idea to have a giveaway contest sponsored by products that I truly love and go to someones house (anywhere in the US) for a free room makeover. Vintage Revivals style.

After 3 rounds of elimination the winner was Jessica Rowan. The funny thing is that she lives about 20 minutes from where my parents live in Salt Lake. Crazy right?

This is the room that Jessica submitted.

Her cluttery, not awesome in the least master bedroom.

And this is what it looks like now.

The biggest complaint that she had was with her closet doors. There were none.

So in all manner of epicness I created this freakishly awesome solution.

See this wall of board and batten?

Well… its sort of magic.

Both sides slide open. Sweet right? This is probably one of my most favorite projects ever and the best part is that it was made using inexpensive things that you can find at any Home Depot.

This corner was super crowded with an armoire before:

And after:

Are you DYING over that stencil? It is Endless Moorish Circles from Royal Design Studio. Amazing right?

And the paint colors are PERFECT. The gray is Empire State and the white is Ultra White both from Dutch Boy. If you are looking for the perfect gray I would bet my first born that you will love this one.

Recognize that cute chair?

I totally stole the board and batten pattern from one of my BBFF’s Emily @ Décor Chick. Love that girl.

The chandy started out like this:

I used hanging garden baskets to make the cage around it and spray painted it with Krylon’s Metallic Brass.

I wish I could say that I came up with this BRILLIANT idea on my own but alas I stole it from the amazing Shannon at Anythingology.

Do you remember the post I did about the perfect dresser that got away?

Well Jessica had one just like it except it was red. Its sort of the Makeover Miracle.

It got a coat of Krylon Sun Yellow (which is the most perfect yellow on the planet.) And its better than the one that got away. Boom.

The headboard was an old door that Jessica had.

We chopped off about a foot and 1/2 and added crown molding and painted it with Krylon Emerald Green. The panels inside are covered with Ikea fabric and I put nailhead trim along the insides.

Hmmm lets see what else was there?

Oh yes the Roman Numeral art. MMVI stands for 2006 which is the year Jessica and her husband Allan were married.

I used a few different colors of watered down Decoart and my Purdy brush to get this weathered finish. I wanted it to look a little more rough than mine.

The Ikea rug had a really simple update with Americana acrylic paint. Which has a super bright concentrated color, ideal for something like this rug.

Now don’t get all crazy when I tell you this but all of the glazing was done with Decoart’s Antiquing Medium…not RL faux glaze. There was just a little bit on the mirror, headboard, and on the end table. I love that you can custom mix the perfect amount with is. It was also a lot thicker than RL’s which I loved.

If you are a newbie glazer give this a try. $3.00 is not as big of a commitment as $20 for a pint of regular glaze.

Also thanks to Purdy I am not against cutting in anymore!! Holla my hubs is going to be so happy!! Now I might actually go and finish the trim in Dylan’s room…

Here are a few more token shots.

First I need to thank my amazing sponsors for going out on a limb for me. This is the first giveaway of its kind in blogland and they put a lot of trust in me to pull this off. If you are onboard for another makeover giveaway please take a few seconds and leave them a message telling them thank you.

Second I need to thank my wonderful friends who helped me SOOO much. You know how they say you should have a doctor and a lawyer etc in your circle? Well for a DIYer it’s a little different.

Amy @ Ameroonie Designs is my resident mathmetician. I told her what I wanted the board and batten to look like and she told me how many boards, what distance apart, you know all the hard mathy stuff.

Tam @ Sew Dang Cute let me adopt her Silhouette a few times so I didn’t have to bring mine up. Even super late on Sunday night we got to hang while it was doing its magic. And she just had her baby 12 hours ago so she deserves a plate of cookies x 3.

Mandi @ Tidbits from the Tremaynes is just one of the most amazing people I have ever made friends with. On top of helping us cut the crown molding for the headboard she was my rock and voice of reason through all of this. I knew that regardless of my question she could help me figure out the answer.

And so so many others that came and helped paint and install and problem solve!

Stay tuned cause I am taking you guys on a field trip to an upholstery workshop soon…

Tutorials for all of these projects will be posted over the next few weeks. If you have any questions you can either email me or leave it in the comments (just make sure you have your email linked to your profile so I can respond)

This contest has been a crazy fun ride, it pushed me harder than I have ever been pushed. I learned a lot about myself and I cant wait to meet more of you in the next round!!
