When I look back on the year and 1/2 long journey that Vintage Revivals has taken me on I marvel at the things that have changed for me, all because I started a blog.

At the very top of the List Of Amazing Things That Have Happened Because of My Blog That Make Me Want To Cry I Love Them So Much (what? It’s a working title….) is having the opportunity to go on The Nate Show.

I mean in what world would something like this ever happen to a SAHM from a small town in UTAH?

But that is exactly what Nate and his amazing staff have done for SO many bloggers. They gave us a platform to share our homes with the country. And we had the chance to feel like what we were creating was important.

Nate is one of the most sincere, kind and postive people that I have ever met.

His staff is hands down 1000000% amazing. They work so hard and are SO great at what they do. (LOVE YOU GUYS! XOXO)

Nate has given me something that few others could. Being on his show gave me the confidence to really embrace who I am and create from my heart. Daily it shows EVERYONE that watches that you don’t have to live in a great place like NY or LA,  or spend thousands on pillows,  or be a “professional” interior designer to be able to create the home that you want.

Because of his show, I had the chance to go somewhere I never thought I would have the chance to go. Being in New York opened my eyes to something I had never experienced before and I will FOREVER be in gratitude or these things.

So thank you Nate and the wonderful staff that have become my friends.

And thank you for changing the way that the world sees bloggers.

I am pretty sure that I owe John and Sherry from Young House Love my first born. Which some days I am fine with…just sayin.

They featured my entryway as a Reader Redesign yesterday and said the NICEST things ever about it. I adore their site and the integrity that they blog with. They are hands down the most iconic home bloggers to my little heart.

As most of you know I taped Nate yesterday.

I cant even begin to tell you how amazing it was. The segments went so so well. Nate is such a sincere and wonderful person. His staff is SO talented and such fun, kind people. I am so blessed to have gotten the chance to know them. Also I might have told Nate to shut up. In a fun way. But, I cant really remember….its all an adrenaline blur.

I don’t have an air date yet but as soon as I do I will pass it along!

I hope that you know how much YOU mean to me! I am just so grateful today.

No, I am not preggo. But thanks for thinking that…

At this very moment Me, Court and my 2 sisters are on a plane headed back to New York to do another round with Nate! (you can see pics from Round 1 Here) Does that explain the crazy project mode that I’ve been in for the last 3 weeks?!

I am SO excited about the segments and about the opportunity to be back!

So, because I feel super bad that you all cant come with me I am going to be doing a ton of posts and sharing lots of pictures and behind the scenes of our trip over on the Vintage Revivals Facebook page!! So make sure that you “like” it so that you are in the loop!

Last time we were in NYC we did a ton of fun touristy things. Now we want to do the REALLY good stuff. So those that have been to NYC, what are your FAVORITE places!?

Whats up ya’ll!

Just wanted to let you know that it is official.

Tuesday the March 22 is the DAY!

So that’s in like 3 days. Set your DVR cause its going to be awesome!! If you DVR’ed the episode from yesterday at the end of the show you can see a teaser for the show on Tuesday….starring muah,  and of course Nate, who I love.

So in this post I asked you to name that movie. They might say it in when Harry met Sally (which was the overall guess) but…. the movie that I was referring to was this one:

Of course cause that is pretty much the only movie I know by heart.

We got up at 4 am. Nice right. Our fight left at 7:00 MST and we arrived in NYC at 3:30 EST.

Our driver was waiting for us in baggage claim (which I didn’t get a picture of cause we were so excited to be in NYC!)

We went and checked in to the hotel and immediately went to the studio to work on some stuff.

Then we went to dinner at Coppola’s. We all wanted to DIE. It was amazing.

Tuesday we were going to be out of the hotel at 10:00 which sooooo didn’t happen. We left around noon. Luckily for us we were right down the block from a subway station.

We went site seeing.

We went shopping in Soho. Which is indescribably amazing.

And then we went to times square

That night for dinner we went to a place that Emily (my producer and NYBFF) recommended called “Shake Shack” it was amazing.

And went to bed cause we had an early call time for The Nate Berkus Show!!

EEEEEEEEEEE! It is 11:21 pm. We leave for the airport in exactly 5 hours. To go to New York for The Nate Berkus Show!!!! (I totally would put 87 exclamation points after that but you might consider me a wee bit annoying)

Dudes, I can not even begin to tell you what a whirlwind 2 weeks this has been. I have been working from 7 am to 1 am. every. freakin. day. There are so many fun secrets that I wish I could tell you but I cant….so don’t ask.

I am so grateful and excited for this awesome opportunity. And I am SOOO grateful for YOU! Thank you for being so supportive and encouraging!

Oh my gosh this post is starting to sound like I just won an Oscar. Anyways I just wanted to tell you all how much I love your guts.

And if my plane goes down, my furniture will go to the highest bidder.

And also will someone please pinch me? (Preferably Nate Berkus….)
