If it’s something I think we can reasonably do, end up with professional (or semi-professional) results, and I get to learn a new skill while doing it, I’m game! Plus I’m cheap…we got a quote for almost $3k to refinish about 1/3 of the flooring in our house a while back…we’d never refinished before, but about $800 later and we knocked them all out ourselves! Never want to do that job again, but wouldn’t trade that for the world… 😀
