Happy Friday you guys!!!
You know when you fall down the rabbit hole and discover AMAZING new blogs and you don’t know how you lived without them?! Yes? Me too! Well add this baby to your must read list…
BEN UYEDA YOU ARE MY SPIRIT ANIMAL!!!! I just had to get that off of my chest.
You guys. The out of the box thinking that Ben from HomeMade Modern has is mind blowing. For the love of all that is good in the world, someone get this man a gold star!!!
Completely obsessed with the idea of stacking plywood for a cool layered look. This media console is just so good.
I mean, is it even possible to be more amazing than this? Geometric Dog Bed
At first glance, this bench seems like a cool thing, but nothing too over the top. Until you realize how it is put together. Genius.
Go and have your life changed.
And inquiring minds are dying to know, what blogs do you love?
I’m a little bit obsessed with that media console table- I pinned it a while back and am just searching for the perfect spot to put one in my house :). That dog bed is crazy excellent too!
Mind.blown! MUST make the bench with the knitted sleeve. Like, now. Thanks for this!!
Love the dog bed! There is an identical geometric dome on a huge scale at The Leonardo museum in SLC that is made of cardboard and the joints inside are held together with clips. It’s big enough for several adults to be inside at once. My teenagers love to hang out in there and talk when we go to the museum 🙂 You should check it out next time you are in SLC. The museum is awesome and has a lot of interactive things that your kids would enjoy.
Oh goodness, yes!
I’ve been stalking him since I first saw that amazing log lounger and the geometric laced chair. He’s incredible!!!
Oh man, you weren’t kidding when you said “rabbit hole.”
BEN UYEDA is a dream!! Thank you for my brand new obsession! ! Can’t wait to make the concrete planter! !!
That dog bed is incredible! I’m always looking for modern pet solutions…our dog bed right now is pitifully unattractive. Unfortunately, I don’t think our pup would fit in this :(. What a great blog find, though–thanks for sharing!
He’s amazing! Will have to jump down that rabbit hole once bubba’s down for the night. One blog I follow religiously (part from yours of course) is The Painted Hive. There aren’t too many awesome DIY bloggers here in Australia but Kristin at the Hive certainly is. Her latest project https://thepaintedhive.net/2014/07/re-love-project-before-after/. Certainly a Cold Dead Fingers candidate.
Ooo! Thanks for this!! I also follow addicted2decorating.com. Her style is not what I would do, but her progress and fearlessness is insane ,
You are my rabbit hole tonight.
I am tired from work and not feeling like being artistic.
Pull out iPad, pullout paper saved from BHG..
Type in your blog and get comfy.
Tonight I am reading.
So happy to have found you.
I am in LOVE with HomeMade Modern! That TV console was the inspiration for one of my favorite projects to date: the plywood desk. So glad you’re sharing Ben’s amazingness!
Have you seen Sarah M. Dorsey’s blog? Her DIY’s are on steroids (her husband is very handy with machines that cut stuff) and not always for an average person but she has great style. https://sarahmdorseydesigns.blogspot.com/
