This week I am guest judging over at The CSI Project. Have you ever been over there? It’s a contest linky party with a weekly theme ran by Tatertot Jen and Becky @ Infarrantly Creative. The prize is a cute button for your blog and the satisfaction that you rock. The theme this week is:
How perfect is that? I have seen your awesome garage sale/thrift store makeovers so here is my idea…don’t tell anyone this, its just between me and my readers. I would love to have all VR gals in the top 10 so lets blow this linky out of the water alright?
I will post a link when the contest goes live on Wed.
And I had the funnest weekend. Most of my fam came down from SLC for my cousins wedding. We spent the entire night dancing and laughing.
I went with my sistur and her friend to watch his sister play softball in the Special Olympics. I am so excited to introduce you to her next monday.
I went golfing with the hubs, sistur and future brotha (just kidding Stephen…maybe, Insert snap dance.) and it was so much fun.
The weather was perfection.
That afternoon we went to the main street splash pad and I had this overwhelming feeling of gratitude. Gratitude for my wonderful family, for my beautiful daughters, my husband who works so hard, for my faith, and that I am lucky to live in such a great community. The only thing that could have made it better was is if Court could have been there with us instead of at the restaurant
Do you have moments like that where you almost want to cry because you are just so grateful? Tell me about them!!
Aw! Fun! (Um, did you really play a round of golf in flip-flops…? What did you shoot?)
You are so stinkin’ cute. The end 🙂
What a sweet post. I do have days like that, even when I struggle with my crazy infertility. I am truly blessed.
I love that shirt you have on! Umm, where could I find such a thing?
I love that the readers of your blog are automatically part of the VR Club and that you love our guts without even knowing us! Cuz really, if an awesome blog falls in a forest, and no one is there to read about it, does it really exist?
Oh, you are so TOTALLY RIGHT! This last year and a half has been truly challenging. Then these last few weeks has been seeming to really push me over the edge. Then just this Saturday, it was a GREAT day! All four of my little ones (4 kids, 5 years apart) were amazingly well behaved and my hubs and I felt completely on the same page. I was so GRATEFUL for the chance to really appreciate what I have. I DO have a wonderful family! I DO have a Heavenly Father that loves me, even though I don’t most the time. I am TRULY BLESSED!
My friend told me you only get 10 days like that in your lifetime…guess I get 9 more! ;o) I’m looking forward to them!
Love you Mandi!
Megan

Ok this isn’t relevant to this post, but I was just watching the Nate Berkus show and they aired the clip of your home again! On the same episode as they toured Oprah’s house! I know I don’t actually know you, but you know how it is with blogs right? As soon as I saw the “after the break” preview of your clip I was like, hey!! I know who she is!
Mmmk I sound like a nerd, I know. 🙂
I can completely relate. This weekend I through my sister a baby shower and I just felt so lucky. My beautiful daughter, my mom, my dad, my husband, and my sister all together is a rare occasion. As for the contest I am so in! I have an end table that will become a kids table (chalkboard and magnetic paint involved) and a changing table that is beautiful! Can’t wait.
