Hey my friends!
Sorry I have been a little MIA this last week! We have lots going on over here and in order to not COMPLETELY lose it I had to take a break for a minute! I cant believe all of the amazing responses to getting more organized. You guys are AMAZING! And I will for sure be doing a follow up post about what I have found works for me (as soon as I have time to implement it…hahah)
BIG HUGE Thank You to everyone who voted for Vintage Revivals for the Homies, even though I didn’t win I TOTALLY felt like a winner. mwah!
I have a fun post coming up tomorrow about the thrifting treasures I have found and lost the last little while (its going to be a GOOD one!!) I love posts like that, where everything is still in its raw thrifted form. FOREVER ago I used to do a bi-weekly linky party called “Look What I Found Friday” and while I don’t think I will bring it back, I will totally add a linky to tomorrows post if you guys want to link up your thrifty junk. Let me know!
I am in the middle of like 5 projects for Dylan’s room (cause that’s how we roll at the Gubler’s) Here is a sneak peak at one of my faves! Can you guess what it is?
I found out last night that there are only 15 tickets left for SNAP! If you are thinking about coming I PROMISE you will LOVE IT. The things that are planned are out of this world amazing and I would love to meet you!
Ok. I think that is everything.
Oh and I have LOVED the interactive type posts that we have had lately. Do you guys like those too? Should I do them more often?
Love Your Guts, Mandi
I hope you’re making a tshirt rag rug for Dylan’s room so you can tell me precisely how to do it! Love the colors!
It’s a rag rug!! I’ve made a few of those before 🙂 Super fun and cute!
Mandi, I don’t comment as much as I should… I absolutely LOVE your blog {it is the 1st blog that kept me in jammies ALL day when I discovered all your crazy-amazing projects!} But I just wanted to say that I like the interactive type posts, and also that I’m going to SNAP with my sister Nat and we are SOOO excited to meet you! I’m most looking forward to the DIY Home track with you and Shelley, that’s pretty much why I signed up 🙂 We’re Lindsay & Mason’s cousins so in a way we’re a little related? Maybe?? {At least I’d like to claim being distantly related to you!} hahaha 🙂 Can’t wait to party it up on the dance floor… isn’t there a dance one night? I think you should start some crazy dress-up theme for that night – Disco, 80s, something Mandilicious! If you do, let us know. We’re totally on board!!
OH OH OH I so hope that its a RUG!!!! I can’t wait to see. I’m also still completely obsessed with your awesome tables that you just purchased so I’m really excited for your thrifting post!
xoxo I love you Mandi.
Hmmm… a rug is my guess! The colors look great!
Whatever it is, I want one and want to wrap myself up in it and stare at the colors!
Lamp shade! Lamp shade! Love it!
Is that a rug? Whatever it ends up being, I’m loving the color combo!
My first thought was lampshade. Rug is the most obvious guess but you tend to go for the unexpected.
Its a braided rag-rug. I have one just like it that I started with lavender and black for my craft room. I have the pieces all braided but havent stitched them togather yet. I think Ill wait for your tutorial as you usually find the easy way! anna
Love the rug!!
How about some kind of handmade swap, those are always fun!
xxoo
