Saturday Snaps

The internet is full of amazing things, here are a few of my favorites this week:

ONE || Have you read the site Messy Nessy Chic? The author Vanessa aka Nessy, finds the absolute coolest things. I think it is safe to say that she is the most interesting person on the internet.

Do you ever feel like the world we are presented is similar to the checkout lane at a grocery store? It is full of the same stories (is Bruce Jenner a woman?!) that we glance at and then go back to our daily routine. Maybe its because I spend so much of my time browsing over things that I am feeling like I just want something deeper. THAT is what Messy Nessy Chic is. Amazing stories full of history and wonder and mystery and magic and things that you would never know about unless you venture outside the norm. Nessy makes this world that seems (at times) to have no secrets left feel like a completely new and unknown gift.

I loved this post about the construction of the Eiffel Tower (and the penthouse + theatre inside!)

Or this one about abandoned greenhouses

  1. Mandi!!!! Thanks so much for the shout-out 😀
I’m also very intrigued by succulent propagation. That post you shared is AMAZING in every way. The single most helpful article I’ve seen on the topic. Excellent find!

  2. Oh I’m quite bummed I missed the nate berkus sale. I’ve had my eye on one item in particular, but I’ll wait for it to pop up again. I’m intrigued with the abandoned greenhouses. I have a thing for abandoned barns. Abandoned greenhouses sounds like an easy next addiction.
