You guys! Did you have the best 4th? I hope it was wonderful!!
I have made a few lifelong friends through this little blogging world and my girl Jill tops the list. She was my partner in shame when all humiliation broke loose on national television (ahem, Craft Wars). We have spend a few weeks together and I can always count on THE BEST stories being shared and never running out of things to talk about. I truly love her.
Jill has been completely overhauling the bathroom in her basement. I think we can all sympathize when a project that should (in our minds) take a few weeks, then turns into something much much more life sucking. Like 2 years later life sucking.
Here is what Jill’s bathroom looked like before she got started:
Not so awesome. Dark, dingy, (and in Jill’s mind) completely unacceptable.
So she did what any slightly sane hardcore DIYer would do. She completely transformed it into her dream bathroom.
It is amazing right?!! Like any good DIYer, she shared the good, the bad, and the ugly on her blog. You will most definitely want to head over and read all about the shenanigans. You can see the full reveal here (tons of great info in that post!) While you are there give her a huge high five for seeing this thing through!
I am dying to know what your favorite part is. I think the countertops and the shower are to die for. The mirrors are just sooo good too. And the floors, love them. The whole thing is just perfection, amazing job Jilly!!
Those light fixtures are adorable and wayyyyyyyy better than before. Great makeover. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Gorgeous transformation- LOVE the after!
Thanks for sharing,
Jenna
WOW! I absolutely love it 🙂 the natural light is perfection.
Wowza!! I don’t think I can choose a favorite element, because the whole thing so beautiful! I love the contrast between the floors and the vanity/walls, the subway tiled walls, the mirrors, the lights, the sinks – all of it! What a gorgeous transformation.
P.S. Checked out your birdhouse Craft Fail, and had a good giggle, because I could totally see me in your shoes if I ever had the opportunity to be on one of those shows. Thanks for sharing – I love your humility. 🙂
What a great transformation. I love those sinks and the faucets. Looks like they were made for each other. What a beautiful bathroom make-over!
Holy crap! That is amazing!! Those sinks are pretty badass but oh man, the all-over subway tile has me. Great job girl!!!
The floors are so pretty. I love the black with the white grout!
I have been following them since you recommended them. I love her bathroom!!!! Those floors!!! The counter!!!! It looks amazing.
Oh. My. God. I just died a million deaths. That is amazeballs!!
Oh my goodness, it’s absolutely gorgeous! Love the light fixtures and the DOOR! I’m swooning, lol
This is beyond words amazing! I can hardly tell it’s the same room. Our bathroom currently looks a LOT like the bore picture… gives me hope!
LOVE THOSE SINKS!!! Doing a remodel of my bathroom 100 year old house in Chattanooga and am dying to know where you got those fabulous sinks. It is so hard to find a vessel style sink that is deep and has its own backsplash, would you please share your source for those???
Would like to know where you found your bathroom sinks.
