Follow my blog with BloglovinYayyy! It’s One Room Challenge reveal day!!! For the last 6 weeks I’ve been sharing peeks into my niece’s nursery, everything from the painting by my great grandma that inspired it all, to the ADORABLE rainbow arch wall treatment. And this week is the reveal!!
So let’s get into it!
This is where we started, a plain Mandi White room that was storage overflow and packed to the brim.
We got it all cleared out and started by hand painting rainbow arches on the walls. It is such an easy DIY, you can 100% tackle it on a Saturday!! We used 2 colors of Sherwin-Williams Emerald interior paint (Mandi White and Softened Green) and mixed them to get the varying colors!!
And now that it’s all done, this is how it looks!
It’s so colorful and perfect!
The crib, dresser, and rug are all from Overstock! You can read all about why I chose each one here! I love how the different styles make the room feel collected and special!
My favorite thing in the whole room is the DIY pressed flower mobile.
While we were in France I picked and pressed a few different types of flowers, and sandwiched them between acrylic discs.
The black and white print is a photograph that my Great Grandma took that I blew up and hung behind the crib. That guy on the pier with all of the fishing gear is my Great Grandpa.
The plant I used is an Audrey Ficus and MAN is it good. It’s a cousin to the Rubber Plant and Fiddle Leaf Fig, and it’s velvet green leaves are magical. I can’t wait to teach you guys all about how to care for it!!
Planter | Large Print | Rocker (similar) | Pillow | Throw | Lamp | Shelf Bracket
Of course, no Vintage Revivals room would be complete without some serious plant love. All of the plants that I used love indirect light and will be so happy in here!!

Can you share the process for blowing up the black and white photo? I love this idea!!
I agree, Iβd love to do something like this with treasured family ohotos! Frame source too!
Beautiful! I love the shelf brackets, where are those from?
Darling! Love that everything will still be just as fun as she grows up!
This is gorgeous! Would definitely love some more info on how you made that mobile π
Me too
What a beautiful room! I am in love with the arches! Congrats on a great finish! π
Knocked it out of the park. Again! Really sweet room – I love that black and white picture you enlarged. One thought for what it’s worth, you being a plant lady and all that, π I am sure there are no plants that could be poisonous to your little nephew – I know he’s still little but…..I hope you don’t mind me mentioning that – Can’t wait to see more!!
Love everything Mandi!!!
Will you be doing a DIY on the mobile? It turned out amazing and Iβd love to read about the process
Ummm, first of all GOALS! But on a more serious note this room is absolutely beautiful!! I would really love a tutorial on the mobile (itβs by far the best one Iβve seen!)
+1 for a mobile tutorial, I just love it, that and the entire room or course… that rug π
You are pure genius. I love how fresh your ideas are. I appreciate the beyond-average effort that you put forth to create and implement. Hope you feel the love and appreciation in everything you do.
I can’t pick a favorite element…the caning on that dresser? The perfect floral rug? The sentimental mobile (<—sentimental mobile FTW). Love ev-er-y-thing!
I love the sentimental elements in the room. The art from your grandma, the b/w photograph, the mobile with flowers you picked on your trip… nice job, once again. I’ll bet your sister loooves you soooo much for doing this with her. I’m sure you’ll have a tutorial for the mobile, so I can’t wait for that. My first grandchild is due in September and I’d love to make this for her room. xoxox LOVE everything you do, Mandi!
MANDI!!! Just wanted to shout your name, like we’re old friends or something. This is darling and perfect and soft and beautiful!!! Your rooms are always so amazing and inspiring and I just love your style and talent. Way to go, girl! That is one lucky niece you have to claim that room as her own!
Why am I not getting these posted on bloglovin when I have been following you for years?!
What a magical nursery you created! So fun and inspiring
The arches on the wall are precious! such a beautiful room that’s relaxing and the perfect spot for a mama to relax with a little one!

its fabulous – so fresh and different
Great space! The faded rainbows add a nice touch to the walls, everything works together so nicely π
Falling more in love with this nursery each time I look at the pictures – well done for such a fantastic job! Love how you put a twist on the conventional mobile and pressed flowers to make your own unique design.
Definitely going to suggest this to friends and family!
Look forward to reading more of your content.
Best wishes,

Love it all! What kind of plant is the one on the middle shelf with the rounded leaves, I am not familiar with that one.
I think it’s a pilea.
I love love love this room. What I like most about all your kid rooms is that they’re not gender-specific, but playful and vibrant, which is what being little is all about!
Also, the mobile is genius!
Hey!!!!
I love how the different styles make the room feel collected and special!
I am in love with the great arches and this article.
Interesting Piece of work. Thanks!
