My name is Michelle, a 25 year old first time home owner stopping by today from over at {Dream Home DIY}
Here two novice DIYers pour blood, sweat, and plenty of tears
into our newly purchased 2 story colonial.
All with one simple goal in mind…
Transform our starter home into the forever home of our dreams.
Our blog is essentially a compilation of journal entries,
a time line of projects and renovations on our path to forever.
And while we are currently knee deep is a million unfinished projects,
our pride and joy
(and the source of many sleepless nights)
is our under construction,
Pottery Barn Inspired Hutch.
One idea,
One change of plans,
And one pile of lumber later,
We were unstoppable!

I assure you, it is much simpler that it appears
This big beauty has since received 2 coats of a gorgeous English Chestnut stain
and it currently waiting ever so patiently for us to construct the hutch top.
