Hope that everyone is having a wonderful Monday!
As many of you know I LOVE the Thrift Store! Like as in, if I had no children and lots of cash I would probably live there…on donated beds. But I think that I would probably bring my own pillow (if I remember). Anyways, this year I wanted a tree that was totally Craptastic. I succeeded.
The far shot makes it kind of hard to see all of the junk. So here are a few of my favorites:
Black Crow. Since the dollar store was totally sold out during Halloween and I was pretty sad about that I HAD to use it on my Christmas tree.
Paper Mache letters, numbers and an @ sign. $.75 each baby! My daughter Ivie and I made a Glitterizer and glitterfied them so they are glitterific.
 Oldish Lantern, nuff said.
ANTLERS!! Freak I can not even begin to tell you about the love affair for antlers that I am having right now. They were donated by my awesome friend Jamie and I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!
1 Handed Grandfather Clock. Lightweight and sort of cute. Sort of.
There are many more secret treasures hidden in her branches. Also did you notice my book page garland? Here is a {tutorial} on how to make them. I used 1/4 of a book page for each, instead of a full one and only folded them hamburger style (if you don’t know what I am talking about just read the tutorial.)
I love it! It’s quirky and cute!
Love it! Off to read your tutorial!
What a fun and gorgeous tree! I am starting to decorate mine TONIGHT! Cannot wait!

That is a SPECTACULAR tree — now I’m thinking I may actally want a tree this year. We’re going to *have* one regardless, I just don’t particularly want to deal with it.
Oh how fun! I love trees with a story behind them.
Just brilliant……………just brilliant!
(Oh SO hope your story has a happy ending, to date, you both obv deserve it m:))
I Love it because I feel like my tree turned out so random with “junk” too that now I don’t feel bad! Thanks for the validation!
I love the randomness of it – reminds me of an I spy book!! So clever (:
