2 posts in 1 day. My family is so neglected right now… I am so excited Val at Until Tomorrow, Val gave me a lovely blog award! Me! An award! Hooray!!
So, here is how it works, I get to share 7 things with you about myself that you may or may not want to know. Then I get to award this to 4 other bloggers that I love (and of course let them know about it).
You may want to fasten your seatbelts this could be a bumpy ride….
#1. Other than Thrift stores my addiction is American Pickers. Man I wish I could go and dig through other peoples junk, just not the dangerous/smelly kind. While we were at Court’s Grandmas house and I found the wood that I wanted I said “I’ll pop on this.”

#2. When I was in 9th grade I was on the Freshman Basketball team. Mostly because I am tall. Really, thats the only reason. I scored 1 point the whole season. (it took me YEARS to be able to talk about this)
#3. In my former life before being a SAHM I worked at a jewelry store, a golf course and as a makeup artist at a med spa.
#4. My Mom and 2 sis-turs are my best friends, I talk to all of them numerous times throughout the day.

#5. Once upon a time I went to college. For a semester. Then I met my hubs, and we lived happily ever after.
#6. I have been thinking about how to define my decorating style. I cant. I love old crap, sometimes I paint it a crazy color, sometimes I leave it crapish. I love stuff that is different, cheap and creative. I love when you have 2 things that seem completely opposite and put them together and its sweet.
#7. I really love the Scentsy scent Clean Breeze because then it makes my house smell like I have been cleaning…when we all know I was in the garage painting or at the DI.
Speaking of the DI. I have a dilemma. There is the NICEST guy that works there, his name is Troy. He calls me Brandy. I dont have it in my heart to correct him, so if you see me at the DI you can call me Mandi or Brandy I will answer to either.
#8. (This is possiby illegal since there is only supposed to be 7 but….) We have the cutest dog in the world. Meet Agnes (Aggie) She is not quite this little anymore but this is my favorite pic of her.

Mandi- So don’t think I’m a crazy ( well ok maybe a little) I think we need to be friends. . . like yesterday!!! Everytime I read your blog I start laughing out loud and shaking my head in agreement. . .its like you’ve been rummaging around in my head. I’ve never met anyone who truly understands my obsession/madness. I to live in St. George, I can’t believe I haven’t bumped into you at the DI yet. (promise I’m not a psycho stalker) We’ve actually met before, at the med spa. Anyway, I saw your comment to brooke and I’m going to extend the same offer to you . . lunch on me anytime. Us thrifties need to stick together 🙂
Kay lady. I love, love, fah-reakin’ love American Pickers. Carter and Chad do too. And although I haven’t had the chance to say I’d pop on anything, I am looking forward to it soon…like tomorrow when I hit up the DI. Love you and all your craftiness.
