I love purple (owned a purple car and a purple couch at the same time, my maid of honor wore purple at my wedding), but I’m more of an eggplant girl.
Love it. I’m a purple girl.the first room in my house to be painted was my powder room a glorious shade of purple!
I use to hate purple, never owned a thing that was purple! Now I can’t get enough of it! LOVE IT!!!
I love purple, but prefer it in lighter shades.
Love it…currently have my nails painted that exact color.
I really like that color purple combined with a mint green.
Not a huge fan of purple in home decor… unless maybe for a little girls room or something. But in feng shui the color purple represents prosperity (when used in the proper placement). So maybe some purple amethyst or purple flowers of some sort to ring in spring would be amazing! Can’t wait to see what you’re planning 🙂
I am addicted to that deep shade of purple right now.
So funny you post this, I have been kind of thinking purple lately. I dont normally go for it either. I think I am going to use a dusty lavender in something! There was purple in the latest Ballard catalog.

I don’t. Apparently, because I realized a while back, that I have not one purple item in my closet. My daughter? Like one pair of purple pajamas. Nothing in my house is purple. Apparently I like it from afar.

Not sure what you’re using it on, but I LOVE purple!! I’ve used it on two BIG pieces of furniture and have gotten tons of compliments on it! If you like it, go for it!
I love it! I just finished showing my husband pictures of a living room that I love that used it as one of it’s accent colors and unfortunately he gave it a big thumbs down! :0( I don’t think he appreciates good taste though! ;0)
I was once known as “The Purple Lady” but have moved on to other colors. this color is good, if used well.
Not my fav unless it’s a hair bow for a little girl. I can only imagine what you are going to do with it tho! Anxiously waiting.
It depends on what it’s for. I don’t LOVE purple like I LOVE red and you LOVE yellow, but it definitely has it’s place….especially if you’re a “Beileber” or have some kind of “Puppy Love”!!!!!! =P
I love (nearly) every tint, shade and hue of it! 🙂 Some form of it is going to be the main color in my studio (once I have a permanent place… purple = creativity), but not in any other place in the house.
It’s beautiful. 🙂 I think it would be a fantastic accent color with white…not sure about a whole room though.

I LOVE purple!!! Especially purple and yellow together. They are probably my two favorite colors. Did you see Lara’s sweater she did on Ucreate last week? L.O.V.E!!! Whatever you’ve got going in your head, I say roll with it. It’s never let you down yet.

I love purple. I like it for home decor, clothes, accessories. I think it’s actually quite versatile x
I guess it depends on what you use it for. As an accent color I love it. However, I was in one home where this was one of the colors on the wall and it looked great.

I LOVE this color. I wear it as often as possible, but I don’t own a single thing in my house this color. Sad. I’m not sure how I would decorate with it. It is very bold!
Hhmm, as others have said, it depends on what it’s for. Purple, in any shade, is one of my favorite colors to wear. But you’re the decorating diva, so I’m sure you’ve got a perfect use for this color.

I myself am usually aversed to purple but have recently found myself drawn to colors similar to the one posted, plus a deep eggplant purple. What’s gotten into me?!

Go for it I say! Love purple, especially mixed with silver or hot pink and orange or a limey green or browns. I’ve got plans for a grayish purple bedroom with reds, oranges and hot pinks and black. Now I’d like to see what you come up with too 🙂

I am a major fan of purple. somehow there is purple incorporated into every room in my house. My living room is a wicked deep purple, and red, but my favorite is my bedroom which is similar to that shade of purple, and lime green!

Funny, my Etsy store is named “One Purple Dandelion”….but I really don’t like the color purple at all…and especially this shade 🙂 That said, though, I’ve been following your blog for several weeks (and have read all of your archived blogs, too) and I love, love, love what you do (I have yet to find something I didn’t wish I could buy from you!)…so I have faith that whatever your plans are for this horrible shade of purple, it will be something that I want in my house 🙂
LOVE it! I often wear this color – I tend to get lots of compliments when I do. I don’t have anything in my house with that color – I’m not brave enough! I did go to someone who had their living room painted almost this color; hers was actually a bit more pink – not hot pink but close. She had this grey tweedy furniture with lots of color flecks in it including this color – it looked FABULOUS!! I LOVED it!!
I love this color … I actually have a sample of it sitting on my desk at home as I too contemplate, “can I really paint my soffice this color?” I will let you know if I go for it this weekend.
Hi there, I saw you on my recordered Nate show today and LOVE your style! 🙂 BTW I heart that color purple, im thinking of doing my new bedroom in greys whites and purples, should be interesting…we shall see
