Sooooo many awesome lamps linked up this week peeps!

Here are just a few of the ones that I love:

Liz @ Bon Temps Beignet and her DIY zebra shade! You all know how much I adore Zebra print right? Plus this tutorial is AMAZING and will easily work for anything that you want to put on a shade.

*

Jilly @ Girls With Good Taste with her Ruffled Shade-o-awesome.

I have been pretty much DYING to share Jilly’s blog with you guys. Her and co-blogger Mia are creative, witty, and have amazing taste, seriously. And she and I were instantaneous BBFF’s cause she is just so hilarious. Seriously you will LOVE them, money back guaranteed.

*

Rebecca @ You’re Talking Too Much and her find of a lifetime! See this lamp?

Totally would have brought it home and spray painted the crap out of it. She decided to Google the maker of it and found out that its worth hundreds of dollars! So I might be check that from here on out. But not of anything previously painted…cause I just do not want to know.

You know people who have such an awesome defined style that when you look at their blog it makes you want to change your house to match theirs? That’s my girl Nita @ Mod Vintage Life.  She is like the queen of perfectly feminine décor. Check out what she did with a vintage floor lamp and a broken lantern.

*

I love when people think WAAAAY outside the box. Kat @ Indignant Corgi was lusting a horse head lamp for a year before she decided to take matters into her own hands and make one out of an antique ashtray.

Love love love it. Anyone seen any horse heads around? Cause now I want one SO bad.

*

Kiki @ Kiki Creates made this INSANE lamp.

Seriously she painted and drew all the gorge flowers all over it. I love when people get creative like that, it takes guts and Kiki has a crapload of awesome guts that I love.

I may be doing a tutorial for this same lampshade soon (tomorrow) but I had to show you guys this one from Erika @ Retropolitian.

Hers is pretty much an exact duplicate of Anthro’s. She is such a rock star, and guess what? we are fam! She is sort of my sounding board and comes up with really amazing projects. You know when you find an awesome blog and you are surprised that they don’t have more followers? That is how I feel about Retropolitian. So go over and follow her for petes sake.

Make sure you check back tomorrow cause its 3 for the price of 1 tutorials! And I will have a video clip from Studio 5 posted as soon as it airs. If you live in UT make sure that you tune in to Channel 5 @ 11:00 and watch me give myself a 3rd degree glue gun burn on live television….not joking.

  1. Some of these are killing me! Yours from yesterday is my favorite. It makes me want to go stand in front of Goodwill till it opens. I’ll be keeping my eyes out for old lamps now that i’ve seen what others are doing with them.

  2. Ahh, thanks for the blog love girl. Can’t wait to watch you on studio 5 tomorrow. Drive safe. I keep watching for Noah’s Ark to float by.

  3. Hi Mandi,
Didn’t you create a zabra print lamp using Kyrlon gold glitter blast? Can the silhouette template for the zebra print still be purchase?
    Thanks, Alyson
