Here is a breakdown of the voting and how to share it and make it as painless as possible for everyone you are sending over.
At 12:01 am the linky on the submission post (where everyone entered their links) will close. When it closes it will open for voting. You will see a little star underneath each thumbnail image (I believe it’s a star. If its not then it will be something equally as awesome.) All you need to do to cast your vote is to click the little star (or whatever is under the link).
You will be able to vote ONCE per IP per Day, at midnight the IP restrictions will be reset and you will be able to vote from that IP again.
I have had a few questions about multiple entries for the same post, I will be deleting these throughout the day. My advice is to MAKE SURE you know your submission # 100% before you send everyone over to vote for the wrong entry. Everything will be finalized at midnight, I cannot guarantee that the #’s wont change up until that point.
The top 4 from this round will make up 4 of the Top 10.

What do you do when you have approximately $10 to spend on replacing outdated drawer pulls? (Pssst… you get CREATIVE!) This is one of my favorite projects from Mandi’s Fall Facelift.
For this project all you need is a leather belt, hex screws, paint and a drill.
Start by painting the back side of your belt. I bought a sample/tester size (do this to save save save!!) You will need at least 2 coats because the leather is going to absorb your first layer pretty fantastically.
When your paint is dry take a straight edge and mark where you need to cut your belt. Each of our straps were 5 inches long.
Use your drill to drill 2 holes into your straps and insert your Hex screw.
So simple and such a fun way to add a little bit of secret color to your furniture.

I have been in Salt Lake for a marathon makeover and IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Studio 5 challenged me to makeover one readers room for only $150. Can you believe this before and after?!!
This whole room was redone in basically 2 days, which is a miracle in and of itself.
I should note that the carpet was not included in the $150, BUT there was a huge rush to get it installed in time so I have to give a HUGE thank you to Lemco, Professional Flooring, and Shaw Contract Group, for pushing the order ahead oh, about 6 weeks.
The paint colors on the wall are Ultra White, and Iron Ore both by Sherwin Williams.
There are loads of tutorials coming on every element but let me break down where my budget went.
The upholstered tufted headboard was the most expensive element in the space, coming in at $69.00.
The striped pillows were made with one yard of fabric from Ikea for $7.99
The dresser was a $10 thrifted treasure that was updated with a coat of spray paint and new handles made out of a thrifted leather belt, pink paint and hex screws.
The vases, books and fun figurines were either thrifted or found in Gritt’s house.
The hanging lantern was something I found in St. George probably 9 months ago and hadn’t found a home for, so I brought it up in hopes that we could use it in the room. I love how it replaces the need for a table lamp and frees up the entire dresser top.
The safe was a HUGE obstacle…literally. It needed to stay in that spot and after running through a ton of ideas on ways to hide it, I decided that we just needed to embrace it and make it part of the room design. So we striped the wall behind it and glammed it up with some decorating and now its not such an eyesore.
Once of my FAVORITE elements is the denim patchwork herringbone throw (remember when I wrote about it here?). The room is so crisp and clean and I felt like it needed an element of grunge.
And last but not least the clock art. Sigh. Isn’t it just dreamy?

In an attempt to control the amount of questions that are coming into my inbox about the Epic Room Makeover Giveaway, I have compiled a list of FAQ’s. If you have a question that is not answered in this post please leave it in the comments and I will answer it there! xoxo
I don’t have a blog. Can I still enter? YES! You can set up a free site on Blogger.com. It is EXREMELY easy and very user friendly!! It does not need to be beautiful, it just needs to be functional.
I only have a private family blog. Can I still enter? YES! You will need to A) Set up a public blog. Or B) Make your blog public for the duration of the contest.
If I make a video do I still need to write a blog post? Nope. You can upload your video to youtube (or any other video service) and link that URL to the linky party. Because you are bypassing the blog you will need to put the Giveaway Button image in your video with a 5 second minimum still image.
I rent, can you still come to my house? If you do not own your house the property owner will need to sign a release saying that they are aware of the makeover and they give full permission to do stuff like paint and put things on the walls. If they will not release permission you can not be the winner.
What exactly will be going on at my house? A full on before and after makeover Vintage Revivals Style. Everything from painting, to stenciling, to reupholstery, to use of power tools, did I mention painting? Sewing, heavy lifting, installing electrical. LOTS OF STUFF.
I don’t own power tools, can I still enter? YES! Lowes has generously agreed to supply all the tools we need to complete the room makeover. And the best part? The winner gets to keep them!
I hate your style. Can I still enter? Please don’t. Really, I am begging you.
How long will this makeover take? I am estimating 1 week. Depending on where the winner lives and the rate the makeover is going.
How are the Top 10 determined? The Top 10 will be chosen from a combination of Most Votes on the Linky Party, Random.org and Wild Card Favorites.
I have a small family blog. What are my chances of making the Top 10? The only portion of the Top 10 that is determined by voting is the Most Votes from the Linky. So you still have a 2/3 chance!!
What if I am going to be out of town/moving/having a baby when you are supposed to be coming to the winners house? Then you probably should not enter. Seeing as how I am not going to be executing this myself. This will not be the last Epic Room Makeover and you can enter next time.
I was in the Top 15/5 last time. Can I enter again? ABSOLUTELY!
Do you take bribes? Not at this time.
I don’t live in Utah, can I enter? YEP! This contest is open to anyone in the lower 48 states.
What if I win and cant get work off? This specific situation will be discussed with the winner.
Am I going to be on your blog if I win? Yes. You will be in pictures and videos that will be shared with the Vintage Revivals community and most likely your blog will be featured also.
My room needs SERIOUS help. I am almost too embarrassed to enter. Is this ok? I can work some serious miracles. That being said, I am not Ty Pennington. The winners space must be structurally sound, I do not have a remodeling crew on my payroll…yet.
I live in Utah and feel like I wont win because of that. Should I still enter? YES! The winner is based on voting, not on location. EVERYONE has an equal chance!
I have 6 rooms in my house, can I enter each of them separately? No, only one entry per person is allowed BUT you can show all of the room in your post.
Exactly how much do you have to spend? Without going into specific details I made a chart to show you…*please note that this is not an exact representation of the budget. Just know that it is MUCH larger than last years… wink wink.
Can I use my blog to nominate someone else? Sure, as long as they are willing to let me come to their house!
Updated: Are you going to be staying at the winners house, or in a hotel? Most likely in a hotel, unless the winner wants 24/7 DIY service and is not an ax murderer. Then I would be fine staying at the winners house.
Updated: If you end up flying somewhere, how will you get there… is someone paying your airfare, or is that up the winner to take care of? Airfare is already covered by my amazing sponsors!

So here is what you need to know to enter.
1. You must write a blog post on your blog about WHY I should come to your casa. Plead your case, make us laugh (or cry), promise me your first born, make a video, write a song, basically whatever blows your skirt up. Make sure to include lots of pictures of the room that needs to be made over! If you don’t have a blog they are extremely easy to start and are free through Blogger.com. It doesn’t need to be pretty, it just needs to be functional. You will also need to include one of the ERM logo buttons in your post/video. (These are at the end of this section.)
2. At the end of this post is a linky. This is where you will link up your post. The linky will be open for submissions from now to Midnight MST on Thursday September 6th. (FYI if you are looking for a little bit of traffic for your site, get your submission in early!!)
3. This contest is open to all US residents that live in the lower 48. (Sorry Alaska and Hawaii!)
4. You must own your house or have the property owner sign a release saying that we can do lots of awesome stuff like painting and putting stuff on the walls. Doing stuff like moving electrical, putting up drywall etc. is stuff for pros, not for this momma.
5. You must be able to do some hard freaking work. This is not a sit back and relax and let Mandi bust it out giveaway. YOU (and whoever else we can sucker into it) will be helping me complete all of the projects. There will be some super late nights so be prepared. If you have a full time job you will most likely need to take work off.
6. DO NOT enter this giveaway if you are not aware of the style/type of projects that I do. Granted I can tone down the Mandiliciousness if I need to, BUT there will be some awesome color/patterns happening somewhere. If you are allergic to anything but neutrals this is not the contest for you. Got it? I mean I still love you, but I want the winner to love their house. Fair right?
7. The winner will have approximately a ONE WEEK notice before I show up at your front door. The reason? In October it starts to cool down in the northern 1/2 of the US. If its too cold to bust out some Krylon its going to be a sad, sad makeover.
8. The winner will have to fill out a W-9 to comply with tax laws and sign a release waiver.

If it is not submitted in time an alternate will be chosen. Top 10 will be determined with a combination of Most Votes on the Linky Party, Random.Org, and Wild Card Favorites.
September 17: Top Ten announced/Plead Your Case Post goes live. At this time voting will be open to the public and will run until September 24th at Midnight MST.
September 25: Winner is announced and has one week to prepare for the lightening fury that is the Epic Room Makeover.

If you saw the Studio 5 clip you will remember that I only have $150.00, which is INSANE and super exciting all at the same time!! Because I mean I cant buy like 2 pillows and call it good. It has to be Mandilicious and awesome and a dramatic Before and After. So we have lots of big plans and lots of work ahead of us..
There is something that I need your help on though.
