SNAP!

By Mandi 11/02/2011

A few months ago I announced that I would be helping the super famous Shelley @ House of Smiths with the DIY/Home track for SNAP. Now that Halloween is over and Christmas is just around the corner I want to have a heart to heart with you about this special conference.

SNAP is the dream child of Tauni Everett. Miss Tauni is a PR genius that has worked for HUGE brands, Congressmen, basically you name it she has done it. A fun tidbit that I just learned about her is that when she was in college she spoke at the UN. As in the UNITED NATIONS. Who does that?! So awesome, right?!

So why SNAP? Why would she go to these huge lengths to start a conference for us Creatives? In my opinion because she is amazing.

Lets face it,  Blogworld is like the Wild West. There is no set formula to navigate through it. Basically it’s a lot of passionate women trying their hardest to be heard, respected, and loved! And at the same time balance their family, work, and lives. Don’t you want someone to TEACH you the best way to do this? Freak. Who doesn’t? That is what SNAP is. It is a conference that is designed for total interaction with your fave bloggers, brands, and other Creatives.

Secondly, no one on the planet just reads ONE blog. Everyone reads at least 20 (or if you are like me 200). Don’t you want to meet these people in real life?! EEEEEEEEEEE! Its like meeting your favorite rock star! Do you want to know who is going to be there?…

Char @ Crap I’ve Made

Becca @ Blue Cricket

Jen @ Tatertots and Jello

Mique from The Queen Bee Market and Thirty Handmade Days

Shelley @ The House of Smiths

Kami @ No Biggie

Kendra @ Me and My Insanity

Lara @ Less Cake More Frosting

Amy @ The Idea Room

Jessica from The Queen Bee Market and Allora Handmade

Brittany @ One Charming Party

Stephanie @ The Daily Blarg

Amy @ Lexilynstudio

And these are just the ladies that are in charge of their tracks. You will DIE when you hear who is speaking!

Speaking of tracks. There is no other conference that embraces ALL the Creatives. SNAP has 4 different tracks. DIY/Home, Modern Crafting, Handmade Market, and Amazing Events. The hard part is going to be to choose which classes you want to attend! (I know the DIY/Home classes are SOOOOOO freakishly amazing you might want to die/pee when you see what we have lined up for you!)

Lastly I WANT TO MEET YOU!!! Do you know how much fun we will have hanging out?! Meeting new friends is literally my FAVORITE part of blogging.

Guarantee that you have made some fantastic friends blogging, on FB and on Twitter. I can tell you from experience that no amount of online friendship can make up for what it is like to hug someone in real life. It solidifies the connection that you have made online. (plus then you can say that they are your friend IRL to your husband when he makes fun of you for spending too much time chatting on Twitter or Skype.)

And don’t worry if you aren’t a “real blogger” or if you don’t have a blog at all. There are SO many classes that are geared to you too!

So what do you say? Will you ask Santa for a ticket?
