So you might learn a little more about me today than you were anticipating on a Monday Giveaway post.
I hate cleaning. Really ask my husband, mother in law, sisters, neighbors who randomly come to my door and aren’t let inside… I love having a clean house but it tends to get pushed down the list of importance some days.
So when I got an email from Nathan @ Fish Foam asking if he could do a giveaway on my site for some I almost said no. BUT in the email there was a link to a post by Shelley @ House of Smiths. Little did Nathan know that Shelley is one of my best friends.
So I did what anyone would do, I called her right up and said “Shelley what do you think about Fish Foam?” For 15 minutes she told me how awesome it was. So I emailed Nathan and told him to send it on over.
Ok now you should know that I am not a cleaning products connoisseur. I don’t have my best favorite things that I always use that you have to go to a special store to get. For the last little while I have been using Windex Antibacterial because its an all surface cleaner and its antibacterial. Its fine on everything but glass. My girls LOVE to clean the coffee table in the living room. Its like their favorite chore. I was getting frustrated cause every time they cleaned it it looked really hazy and streaky. So I would go back over it and guess what?…hazy and streaky. But by that point someone (Dylan) is usually dancing on it so I am over it.
So I get the Fish Foam in the mail and I was excited to see if it really was as awesome as Shelley said.
OH. MY. GRAVY. There are not words for how amazing this glass cleaner is. I called one of my friends to tell her about it and said “I don’t think people are going to understand HOW incredible Fish Foam is.” She told me I should make a video.
Which I did not do.
But.
It makes your glass so clean that it is actually brighter. That might sound strange but that is the only words I can put on this freakish phenomenon.
This is what I am giving EVERYONE on my list for Christmas.
One of the best parts about it is that it is a foam spray so I used TONS less than I did with my other cleaner. It is also Drip Free, which is HUGE especially when you have kids helping you out….if you know what I mean.
It is an alcohol based product which is why it cleans SO good. There is no ammonia, or wax.
That’s right I said WAX dudes. That is in most other window cleaners. No Wax= No Streaks and Fogginess.
Also I went online after I used it fully expecting it to be over $10 a can (judging by how FANTASTIC it is).
Nope.
How about $3.94. Less than the product that I had been using.
So if you want to buy some go here!
And you should also know that most cities in the US have professional Fish Foam Window Cleaners. (Check out Shelley’s post for more info on that!)

We have a storm door. With my 18 month old and 3 year old touching it all day long it get’s pretty gross. There are also the boys who come to play with my oldest who touch it and dirty it up on the outside all day long too.

I feel like a broken record is happening here but as a mom I agree any glass surface is difficult to keep clean when children and pets are involved! This stuff look awesome! And I love that there is no ammonia!
With a 4 year old – no glass stays clean. It’s especially bad when we’re out at a restaurant or store and he’s messing with the glass/mirrors right in front of the staff. Do they make a purse-size?

Sprayway Glass Cleaner (at walmart and similarly priced) is also A-Freakin-Mazing. You should do a comparison of those two to see which is better! I’d be interested.
The patio door–my children don’t seem to understand the concept of “the handle.”
The thing we have to clean the most is my daughter’s TV in her playroom. She’s 2 and likes to draw on it and smear her leftovers on it. Yeah, it’s a daily chore and it’s gross. 🙂

Most definitely the sliding glass door. Although sometimes I love looking at the teeny tiny handprints on there from my toddler. So cute and little!
finger prints and water stains drive me nutty! I have to clean my mirrors and windows almost everyday to rid of them. But the hardest to clean is all the pictures I have on my walls on tables. I need this one! Thanks!
I have two places I have a hard time with , Front door glass ( dog nose ) And the oven door , it’s always streaky .
While my tv and entertainment center get constant finger prints, I’d really love to take this to my parents and use it on their back glass door. Multiple grandkids ages 1-7 make that door covered in fingerprints…and licks!
Oh I would so use this on my back doors where the dogs jump on the bottom window!

Holy moly cleaning the glass in my husband’s curio cabinets is a pain in my rear end! The front and both sides are glass, the back is a mirror, and every shelf is glass too! No matter how clean I think I get it there are always pesky streaks!

The hardest thing to clean are the windows in my kitchen. I have one above the sink and large sliding glass door which I cannot get clean. If I don’t win I bookmarked the website to order some.
I used to have glass top tables in my living room & they were impossible, but I don’t have those any more… now the hardest thing to keep clean is this big front window we have that my dog likes to hang out in & get his nose snot all over every day… good thing he’s so cute!
The worst thing for me to keep clean is my bathroom mirror … enough said! Even when it’s just cleaned it never looks clean enough, hate that!
I would use this magical stuff on my bathroom mirror. I don’t know HOW my husband manages to get so many water spots/toothpaste spots/etc on it, but there it is… every morning.
My random act of kindness will be sponsoring a local family for Christmas. They are the sweetest. The mama is unemployed, the daddy is working part time (lost his job), they have three children plus just took in three nieces/nephews because they had no where to go. Truly a blessing to know these people!

The bathroom mirror. I swear every morning my husband must spit his toothpaste out on the mirror. It drives me crazy and then I can’t see well enough to do my make-up!
Oh my goodness! My windows! My windows! My windows! They are terrible, and I just can’t be bothered to “clean” them, and end up with a streaky mess.
Our family room windows are 12 inches off the floor and go nearly to the ceiling. Add in two little boys, a dog with a freakishly wet nose, and a husband who likes to leave the occasional math equation smeared onto the glass — and you see my problem!

The outside of our windows are the worst because the sprinklers hit them all summer long. I seriously doubt this product will clean the mess, but I’d love to give it a try!
Like everyone else, our glass backdoor is ALWAYS dirty! Between a three year old and a dog, it never stays clean too long. That or my bathroom mirrors, yuck! I would LOVE to try this!

Our front door is glass and I have two little boys. There hand prints are all over it (along with whatever was on them, playdoh, paint, pasta sauce) and that’s just the inside. Outside, my 4 year old loves to wash the glass, either with his hand, dirt, or a spray bottle. It’s always dirty!
I have a two year old so any glass surface 4 ft. high or under (or if it is high and can be reached with a stool) is impossible to keep clean!

I’m entering this give away because it’s very difficult to get a clean bathroom mirror. I take care of my SIL who has Down’s syndrome and she’s constantly spraying the mirror when she brushes her teeth. It seems like regular cleaners never get the glass truly clean.

Yesterday we helped an elderly woman load all of her groceries in the car just because.

So I don’t have kids (yet), but I do have a big German Shepherd dog… who leaves his big nose prints all over the glass on the door to the back yard. Seriously, I think he knows when I clean, because the glass looks the same about 10 minutes after I clean it!
Oh, the french doors looking out to the backyard…my toddlers look like little jailbirds begging for freedom!!! They’ll smoosh faces and rub fingers on each glass block, begging to go outside.
My front windows… my dog licks it, my cats rub there hairy backs against it, my 9 year old likes to see his hand prints on it, and to top it off my older kids do blow fishes all over it. Then the sun shines right in the window everyyy morning and i cringe cause windex just dont cut it 🙂

Wow! The difference is amazing!! The first thing I would clean is my ginormous mirror in my entryway! It is so ornate and beautiful, but always shows smear marks when I clean it. I hope to win so I can try this product!

With three little boys and two dogs, everything is a mess, but my slidding glass door is the hardest to keep clean. It always has that haze to it that you are talking about too. Of course it looks out onto a lake, so company is always staring at it…drives me nuts!

My new black glass top stove is driving me insane with the cloudy streaks..every time I walk by it I have to get the Windex out…it’s driving me crazy I tell ya…help!

My front screen door is glass from top to bottom and it’s definitely hard to keep clean!
The outside gets dirty from rain/snow etc. and the inside gets dirty from fingerprints and doggie noses!!!

With the holidays coming, along with all the company, my front door sure could use a sparkling shine. What a wonderful way to greet my guests!
I work at a grocery store. Today a very stressed out Mom came through my line along with her five grumpy, unhappy, crabby, very tired children. As I helped her out with her cart, I grabbed a bouquet of flowers and put it in the back of her minivan, without her seeing. Just the thought of her seeing them when she got home tickled me through the rest of the shift.
I’m always cleaning the bottom half of my sliding glass door becasue my cats are always pressing their noses on it to look out over the ravine. Drives me NUTS!

I have a really hard time keeping my picture window in the kitchen clean. My inside cats press their kitty noses to the glass while my outside dogs are pressing their doggie noses to the outside of the glass! Add to this a 10 year-old that likes to put fingerprints on the glass and you have one big mess to deal with!

I LOVE how excited you are about this product, that I just had to enter to see for myself. The hardest glass in my house to keep clean and streak-free is the glass on the shower door!
I have a dog that likes to look out the window all day – the problem is by “look” I really mean press her nose against the glass and smear it around! This happens to every window in my house AND in the car! gross.
The inside of my car windshield. I seem to always be commuting right towards the sun and it is kind enough to point out every little bit of haze left over from my last attempt to get the window clean on the inside. Sigh.
I can’t get the mirror in my entry way to be streak free and I have tried everything. This would be the perfect test for this cleaner.

I have a 1yr old boy and a big Newfie that like to look out of the windows together. Dog nose and little boy prints. I love to try out new products and would love to try out FISH FOAM!!!!
My bathroom mirror. After one shower..it’s foggy and usually stays that way until I clean it again (twice a week). So for about 8 hours a week it stays clean. 🙁

Oh my WORD! If this stuff works as well as you say…which I’m sure it does–I’ve got to have some!!! My 90lb. black lab loves putting his snotty nose on my sliding glass door, front door, mirror, windows and every car window……this would be amazing!!!
I have a huge mirror in my guest bathroom and I never can get all of the streaks out not matter what I use. I would love Fish Foam!
Our worst surface is the patio door. It always has kiddo fingerprints and mouth smudges on it – endearing yes, but I would love a great cleaner for when I can no longer actually see through the patio door due to the mess. Thanks for a great giveaway!
My super sweet and beautiful 10 month old daughter loves looking at herself and kissing herself in mirrors, loves standing at the screen doors and licking the windows and to top it off I live in Albuquerque where it’s so dusty any time I clean my windows and mirrors it’s just like I’m smearing dirt around!!! I have never had a shiny or streak free window or mirror!!

Our back door is glass… My 2-year-old loves to do all those normal 2-year-old things like kiss it, lick it, wipe grimy, muddy hands all over it… It’s never clean.
A glass table that ends up being a “catch-all”. I can not clean it enough! The babies crawl under it and therefore hand prints underneith it!!!
The sliding glass door to my backyard. My Labrador puppy jumps up against it when she wants to come in. You can imagine the slime. I am constantly trying to clean it.
Oh my goodness, I can’t decide if my sliding door or bathroom shower is worse. Probably the shower door, it was a rental before we owned it and ya…it needs help! So please, HELP! 🙂

The front storm door! We just a brand new one installed and it is fully glass, and constantly covered in my kids prints. Plus they think it’s hilarious to put their mouths and tongues on it and make funny faces. Yeah hilarious ;P We just tried cleaning it last week with Windex and it still looked foggy and a mess. I’d LOVE to try this stuff out!

Oh this would be great. Mirrors is what I have the hardest time keeping clean.
The glass doors of our fireplace! We have a woodburning fireplace we use nightly (woodburning fireplace + logs my mountain man hubby chopped = no heat bill!) but the smoke from the wood turns the glass a yucky color, so thanks to my husband’s “cleaning abilities” the living room smells like Scrubbing Bubbles.
I’m a messy toothbrusher — my biggest problem is the bathroom mirror.
The glass next to my front door. Every kid who comes to my door sticks their grubby hands and noses on the glass, while peering inside to see who is coming to answer the door. Ditto for all the kids IN my house who do the exact same thing from the inside. Double sided mess.
My worst glass to keep clean is the window my westie lays next to during the day. There’s a definite area where her nose likes to go and it shows.

We just moved into a new house and the whole back is sliding doors and big windows. Apparently since I’m 6 months pregnant I’m not supposed to do the reaching to clean them but this would so help me motivate my husband to do it. Purty please 😉
My random act of kindness was giving away turkeys yesterday to families in need. Was so nice to see so many happy and helped by such a little thing. Truly a thankful Thanksgiving.

Oh my what wouldn’t I clean with this, my mirrored back splash in my kitchen, My 8 french doors, my glass kitchen nook table, my mirrored dresser & night stands and the list goes on & on!

My house window the inside of the house. my dog is always putting his wet noise on them. Who would have thought that he would love windows so much. lol
Like many others, it is the glass doors leading to my backyard. The dogs put their noses up to the window both when they’re in the house, and when they are outside wanting in.

I would love to try this out. I have a princess in my house … she happens to be in cat form. This princess loves to sunbathe in the windowsill. She looks lovely. Sadly, her little nose prints on the glass detract from the absolute beauty she exudes. Please help this little princess achieve ultimate adoration.
My bedroom window by far. My bed is up against the wall with the window and it’s perfect height for lots of gazing (ie nose prints) by my two pups.
My bathroom mirror is the hardest to keep clean. I swear I’m cleaning it 3 – 4 times A DAY! Between me in the morning, and my cats trying to find my hair scrunchies (they paw the mirror)…I’ve almost given up on it. 😀
Oh My Goodness! I have a salon in my basement and a daughter….not a good mix, I have one of those GIANT mirrors at my station that NEVER and I mean never looks clean because of its size, it’s Ginormous! Please make my dreams come true Mandi! LOL

BATHROOM MIRRORS!!!! seriously. sheeh, they need to be cleaned every stinkin day.. of course i dont clean them every day.. OH and the stove top. i use windex now. i wonder if fish foam would be awesome for that?.. hummmmmmmmmm
Hi! So I would normally say that the interior cars windows are the worst!!! No cigarette smoke or anything, just normal dirt (whatever that is), but it drives me absolutely crazy!! I usually use a vinegar/water solution and it works quit well, but does leave streaks and you don’t realize you left these streaks until you are driving down the road with the sun facing you and there it is, ugh!!! But today I am complaining about that bathroom mirror. Quite a large mirror and it looks beautiful when it is done, until the sunshines on it… This mirror doesn’t just have streaks, it looks like a child smudged his grubbies all over it!!! I am almost giving up, but glad to hear there may be something that works!! Happy holidays and love, love your blog!

Would love some fish foam. The inside of my car windows are so gross I can’t see in the sun no matter how many times I clean with windex and then vinegar water, still streaky.
Love your blog…My 6 granddaughters, 7 thru 1.5 yrs old actually kiss, decorate with stickers, hand print, hand print and everything else on the large full length mirror. If this works fabulous on windows I can only imagine the wonders it would do on mirrors. Would sure like to give this a try. Keep the great ideas coming. I can’t get my house flipped fast enough!
The back full view door ALWAYS has little hand prints of grandchildren and Yorkie nose prints on the inside and outside…. It sounds fabulous!! Would love to try it!

Love the Fish Foam, guess what….it also works great on cleaning up paint that was dripped on a laminate wood floor. No residue left behind, no marks, nothing…just a clean(er) floor. Am ordering more cause I won a 3 pack from you and love it!
I could sure use a good mirror cleaner. If it is fun to use maybe he will want to clean the mirror everyday. Now wouldn’t that be nice.
