Let me tell you a story about our (I say ours cause it belongs to us all!) little contest. It started in March with this crazy idea. I let it grow and grow in my head until I had worked it out enough to contact companies I loved. Not everyone said yes. These awesome sponsors totally went out on a limb for me and I am soooo grateful! Not only are they killer products but they are the best companies in the world. I am in the middle of my first DIY Vintage-glam-craptastic project right now… making over my dining room table and chairs. I’m new to the diy world and this contest is about the only way advertising for diy products could reach me. I don’t watch TV, don’t subscribe to any mags and didn’t follow diy blogs until my dear sil notified me of her entry in the contest. I popped over to vintage revivals to vote, took a look around, started a blogger dashboard and started dreaming up projects. And because this contest was so awesome, despite dear sil not winning, I’ll shop these sponsor’s products first. So many experienced and awesome crafters use it, then I will, too.
